- DRdrew rogersAug 14, 20261.0disappointing. we stayed three nights ARCHITECTURE: few of the rooms have a view of much else than other parts of the building or the parking garage. utterly failed to take advantage of the mountain views. DECOR: the rooms are darkly decorated with 'designer' lighting that's so dim it gives me a headache in the evening. the bathroom lights are so dim I was guessing at shaving. can't imagine doing makeup in there. the in room refrigerator made a loud skull penetrating drone so I unplugged it. the beds are those super soft things that give people back aches. the bathroom water is pretty low pressure with pretty little sprinkles, so typical ablutions are a challenge. many other minor annoyances of poorly thought decor. basically they sacrificed comfort and functionality to look cool. HOUSEKEEPING: sorry, I don't usually diss on the staff and it's probably more management's fault. the rug still had someone else's crumbs and bits of hair, probably because housekeepers can't see in the dim, and vacuuming isn't planned as regular (in a pet friendly hotel!). we told the desk and they said they'd send someone to vacuum, but that never happened. the shower and bathroom floor also had someone else's hair. the beds were made up tight and everything else seemed reasonably clean.
