  I will not stay here, train loud horn passing at 1 am and next pass at 5 am. Walls are so thin Could hear guests walk and knock on doors.

  Great breakfast with views. Mostly friendly staff. Rooms are a little dated. Small tv's. my fridge broke so they moved me to a different room. Some rooms have balconies with great views of the river. Exercise room has to no AC or heat, just a window with a fan. Cell service disappeared in rooms and Wi-Fi was busy.

  The hotel itself is in a good location and the room seemed fine at first. Unfortunately, while getting settled in for the night, I noticed a glue trap sitting directly underneath the AC unit with multiple dead insects/spiders stuck to it. Definitely not something you want to discover in a hotel room you just paid for. I understand hotels may use glue traps for pest monitoring, but if they’re needed, they should at least be checked and replaced regularly rather than left full of bugs where guests can easily see them. After finding this, I spent the rest of the evening hoping I wouldn’t see anything crawling around the room. Not exactly the relaxing end to a long day of traveling that I was hoping for. For comparison, I stayed at two other Holiday Inn properties during this same road trip and had no significant issues at either one. Unfortunately, this particular stay was noticeably different. In addition to finding a glue trap with multiple insects/spiders underneath the AC unit, later in the evening my room began smelling strongly of cigarette smoke, apparently coming in from outside. As a nonsmoker trying to relax and sleep, that was extremely unpleasant. Easily the most disappointing of the three Holiday Inn stays on this trip.

  There was no WiFi so I couldn't work on my computer. The person at the front desk didn't tell me when I checked in. I tried to connect and couldn't, I called front desk and she said they haven't had it all day and not sure when it would come back on. Why didn't she tell me when I checked in??

  I loved this hotel. It was reasonably priced and had such good amenties including: Books available to borrow & read Pool & hot tub Patio to chill or eat breakfast facing the river A pretty decent complimentary breakfast. They had omletes, sausage, potatoes, coffee, juices, cereal, yogurt, pancake Making machine, biscuits & gravy and more. Rooms with balconys that face the river (these are specific rooms not all rooms) A free shuttle to a local restaurant/bar A little convenience store to buy snacks
