  From Colorado city, evacuated Wednesday, paid 2 nights, then extended 3 more nights- told today that we’re getting evicted!!! Many elderly people with animals and fixed income- im n IHG member, but I’ll bash your holiday inn until the day I die- all about the bottom line- btw your staff is great but u the IHG and holiday inn are awful- don’t worry, I travel a ton and I’ll share this story with everyone- u guys suck….

  We recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Pueblo, and I have to give a special shout-out to Helen, who works the complimentary breakfast. She absolutely made our stay. From the moment we walked in, she was warm, friendly, and genuinely trying to be of service — the kind of person who clearly takes pride in helping guests start their day right. She even introduced me and my kids to Pamela, the automatic pancake maker, which was a huge hit! There's nothing better than a hot breakfast served up with that kind of cheerful hospitality. Helen, thank you — you're a gem, and this hotel is lucky to have you. The rest of our experience matched that same standard. Every staff member we encountered was friendly and welcoming, and the hotel itself was bright and well-lit — a refreshing change from so many dim hotels we've stayed in lately. Highly recommend, and be sure to say hi to Helen at breakfast!

  Very well kept hotel! The rooms were very clean. Helen, at the breakfast service was extremely welcoming and helpful. She had a bright spirit about her that really started your day off right.

  We have stayed at this hotel many times over the years, but unfortunately this weekend will be our last stay here. A hair straightener was taken from our room during our stay. I spoke with the night clerk, who checked a few locations but was unable to find it. I was disappointed that no one proactively informed us about the situation — we had to ask for updates ourselves. The following morning, I spoke with the day clerk and was told they were still looking into it and would call us back. It has now been four days, and we still have not heard anything. I do want to give a shoutout to the breakfast attendant, who was kind, helpful, and welcoming all three mornings we were there. She was the one bright spot during an otherwise frustrating experience.
