  The hotel is very well cared for, clean rooms with a nice kitchenette. Breakfast items were what you would expect for a continental breakfast but the quality was excellent. The hashbrowns were crispy and hot! Very pet friendly and a great spot to be near Denver without the huge price tag.

  We found bed bugs in our room. Front desk staff did not offer a new room or a refund. When we followed up with the manager, Brad, he was incredibly rude to all of our friends and when pushed for a refund or room credit, he cited a false investigation of the room by a third party and said that because we used the same photos to report the incident, he wouldn’t believe us. He also refused to share customer service information and was just plain not nice. Don’t recommend staying here, regardless of the bed bug infestation!

  We found bed bugs in our room, and took multiple photos and videos as proof, as well as leaving the literal bed bug under a cup on the night stand for the cleaning crew to find. Even with this evidence, the manager, Brad, was extremely rude and unprofessional when we requested a refund or room credit, he mentioned an “investigation of the room by a third party,” without providing evidence of the investigation. He also refused to share customer service information. Don’t recommend staying here, bed bugs or not. extremely rude and unhelpful staff.

  Front desk at check in could not give us a room with a walk in shower (for our mobility problem) that wasn't at the very end of two long hallways. Also! The only rooms available for mobility issues was a suite, not the less expensive studio. Had to pay more for accessible room - penalized? I'll say. Lamp on bedside table did not work at arrival. Front desk could do nothing so no reading for me that night. Broken shower door at arrival. Could not use shower for first day waiting for maintenance to fix. TV had no service the second night. Had to call Front Desk 3 times before they answered to tell me that (@10pm!) they were installing a new satellite dish. Yeah sure. Breakfast is over at 930. SHARP. Very rude crew removing coffee just as I was pouring some. Nothing much of a breakfast. Dirty dirty room. Mold in shower. Air vent filled with dirty. Torn rug and torn chair. Ugh!!!!! I did not meet one friendly employee the 2 nights we were there. Checked out a day early.

  I stay in Highlands Ranch a lot though usually at the Home 2 Suites or Residence Inn. I wish I had discovered Staybridge Suites sooner as it is now my preferred hotel. It seems like it might be newer than the others or at least seems cleaner. The rooms are nice and quiet and dark. The AC units work well even on the 4th floor in 100 degrees temps and are relatively quiet compared to other similar hotels. The breakfast is also better with crispy bacon, better texture of potatoes, eggs that might not actually be powdered, and fresh fruit with the granola and yogurt. There were a couple questionable bananas and one day where most food was gone an hour before breakfast ended, but there was also a big wedding party that had ransacked it. The outdoor patio has a great mountain, sunset view so you actually feel like you’re in Colorado. Front desk staff was pleasant. I was worried about dogs being allowed, but I barely saw any. The ones I did were very well behaved and there was no hair or odor in halls or rooms like I’ve sometimes seen at other pet friendly hotels.
