  My husband had been working and driving for 12 hours when he arrived around 2:00 p.m. He politely asked Omar at the front desk if early check-in was possible and even offered to pay an additional fee. Omar said no rooms were ready. My husband later asked if Omar could please check with housekeeping to see whether one room might be available. Omar responded, “you can leave and cancel if you’d like.” Go somewhere else!!!!!!! Really…. we spend thousands with Holiday Inn a year with our company. To be treated like this is unacceptable. We didn’t want anything free. We understand that check-in is at 4:00 p.m. and early check-in is not guaranteed. The problem was Omar’s rude and dismissive behavior toward a tired guest who was simply asking for help. My husband is also an IHG Gold Elite member, and this is not how any guest especially a loyal member should be treated. Completely unacceptable customer service. A young man Zachary came in at three and checked my husband right in. Imagine that half an hour prior Omar said there was not one room clean and then he got off at three and so did all the cleaning ladies so he lied thanks, Holiday Inn.

  Incredible service from the front desk upon arrival. Beds were not the most comfortable but doable. Breakfast was very solid and shoutout to the kind gentlemen constantly restocking. Great location right off I-70, perfect heading back to KC from the mountains.

  I called the front desk from my room asking for a phone number to call because I wasn't able to connect my devices to the internet. They didnt know the information. I ask who do you call if the wifi goes. I was laughed at and then they hung up on me.

  We had a reservation for Friday, July 17, but when we arrived, we were told the hotel was overbooked and had no rooms available for us. Fortunately, we were able to stay next door at the Best Western, so it wasn't a major inconvenience. My primary complaint is the difficulty I experienced in getting a refund. I booked through Hotels.com, and they couldn't process the refund without approval from this Holiday Inn location. Over the course of four days, Hotels.com repeatedly called and emailed the hotel but never received a response. I also called the hotel multiple times, including the front desk, but no one ever answered. If you're going to leave guests stranded because of overbooking, the least you can do is respond to your customers and your booking partners.
