- JEJames Edwards5 days ago5.0We had a wonderful experience at the Holiday Inn Express in Lamar, Colorado! We chose this location specifically because there were suites available. We had driven from Colorado Springs through heavy rain and wind and we were quite ready to make a stop! The breakfast offering was hot with lots of options. We enjoyed it very much as it tasted very good. I wish we had more time to stay to enjoy not only this hotel, but Lamar itself! We'll be back on our next visit!

They had no problem, accommodating us in any way necessary including me even using their WiFi after I had checked out. Thank you so much for being awesome people! The building itself is also super clean and beyond comfortable!

It's not a good look when someone is staying over on business and you make them initial a whole bunch of stuff acknowledging that you will be charged extra for destroying things, etc.. makes it feel like you're paying by the hour. Haven't had to do this in years now, granted I usually stay at Marriotts and am a gold member. Now I remember why. Parking lot was crowded, mainly due to trucks taking up 4-6 spaces each. Elevator rattled around in the shaft, was noisy, and made unconcerted noises. Not a fan.
