  Yesterday my family and I enter our room astonished at the fact there was pee, like animal per in the corner of our room. We didn’t make a big dead and just asked them to clean it up which they did. We keep looking around room and saw our bed sheets were ripped of some sort, at this point it was late so we were to tired to complain about another thing and just went to bed. The next morning we attended breakfast later than usual but still before the cut off time and the cook had told my family that they were gonna make more food but after a while she said to us “ that’s it , no more” and was unplugging all of the machines which was not necessary a problem to us we were fine. When we were leaving back to our car to load our bags by the entrance door there was more dog pee. Overall I’m very unpleasant by my experience.

  I am appalled at the disarray and disrepair of this property. The towels are worn and torn and stringy and to add insult to injury their American flag that flies is old, dirty, worn and torn it is a disgrace and an insult to the American people especially here in our 250th year. It's such a shame that this property has fallen into such disarray they used to have a wonderful Bar and Restaurant that is now closed. I used to manage the Best Western here in Colorado I know they're high standards and I'm shocked that Best Western hasn't pulled the flag for this property

  1st room they checked us into the AC was making a loud grinding noice. They moved us to another room, same thing. We had booked a 2 night stay, 2 rooms & checked out after the first night. No refund, no sleep & no apologies. Never again. Heard others complaining also.

  Location worked well for what we needed. It's a BW so it isn't "fancy" or luxury by any means. Basic accomodations, beds aren't very good. You have to pretty much go into the shower to close the bathroom door because of how small the bathroom is. But pillows were nice, and the dino theme is pretty cool. Take some time to wander the lobby and check out the stuff they have. It's pretty cool to look at. Front desk staff were always pleasant. Breakfast is super basic, but works. Eating outside of the weather is good is nice. Only word of caution is about the pot smoking. Seemed like our entire floor was smoking weed, so walking to our room and out to the car each day was an exercise in guessing who was smoking cheap skunk weed, and who was in town simply to buy it. Honestly surprised at how much weed was being smoked in rooms. I would have thought Mgt. wouldn't tolerate it. We asked the front desk about it at one point, and they simply smiled and said "it's Denver". So if you have kids or don't really want to deal with all the pot smoke, this place might not be for you

  Convenient to the highways, food, and Costco. The rooms were pretty clean, except for someone's clothes that were left in the dresser drawer. The top sheet on my bed also wasn't put on properly, so it was all bunched up under the covers. Those two things have me concerned about other cleanliness opportunities that housekeeping staff may have overlooked. The theming was cool. There are lots of fossils in the library, and the room was lightly themed with dinosaur throw pillows. The pool looked a little stagnant, like there was something wrong with the pump. The same things that were kind of floating on the surface in the morning were still there in the evening when I went to use the hot tub. Breakfast was decent, standard hotel breakfast.
