CONDESCENDING and RUDE
After my company spent four days of lodging with them and I purchased their $10 breakfast every morning, I was trying to have the stay extended by having my company call in. I spoke with the staff at approximately 9:30 AM and said that I needed to extend the stay, would that be possible? They said yes but you need to hurry and have your company contact us because we’re short on rooms. I immediately let my company know they need to get in touch with the hotel and extend the stay because they’re short on rooms. An hour and a half later my company contacts me to tell me that they’ve been trying to call in and nobody’s answering. So then I tried from my personal cell phone from inside my room. I tried to call and I also experienced the phone ringing twice and being looped out. This happened 4x. So I walked down to the front desk to explain to them that my Company‘s been trying to get in touch with them and I was met with the most hostile, condescending attitude I’ve ever received from a hotel staff. They said ‘no your company just barely called us’ and I tried to tell them they were trying to call for an hour, but nobody was answering and they responded with ‘well we’ve been getting calls from everybody else’ so they were trying to treat me as though I was lying or making this up. Ok, fast forward. I couldn’t renew the room so I had to pack my stuff and find another hotel. Once I was packed I came back down to the front desk and I spoke with them to tell them my experience with the phones which were also my company’s experience of getting disconnected after two rings. I wanted to explain to them that the phone system may be having issues and they might want to look into it, and AGAIN I was met with eye rolls and a condescending attitude. Still, I called them out on that poor attitude and I explained what my experience had been with the phones and I also told them they should maybe pause for 30 seconds and allow their customers to explain to them what they’re experience is and they might learn something. Not everybody is out to get one over on them. They should not be so defensive.
A warning: if you’re gonna be there weekdays, the morning staff is unprofessional and rude. Know that before you go. Limit your expectations.

I stay here regularly for work and this hands down the best staff I have ever met. It starts with the desk staff, they must have a sticky note that says "For the bearded idiot" with my info because I usually forget it and they have it all figured out for me by the time I get to the front of the line. They also dont judge at 2 am for whatever Cliftonian I drag in with me. The room and maintenance staff is always awesome and always have the cleanest towels to replenish them when they get used. But definitely the highlight is the bar staff and if you have stayed here you know what I'm talking about. Its always a dinner and a show.

This was a great hotel to stay at in terms of convenience and cleanliness for a business trip we recently had. I would advise not staying on the side right off of I-70 if you like quiet since I could hear the rumble of semis and motorcycles traveling to and from Utah all night. I did appreciate the very helpful and friendly staff, especially the man who checked me in and the woman with medium length sandy hair (sorry, I didn’t catch their names but wanted to give them credit nevertheless!)
The amenities in the room were modern and much appreciated. I preferred the full size Dove soaps than the little bottles. I also liked having a fridge and microwave, along with a desk and chair.
The hotel is located very conveniently near the airport and if you have a car you can get to downtown easily. It’s also a very safe area.
There is a small pool (up to 5ft. In depth) and fitness room as well as an on-site restaurant and bar.
Overall, I appreciate cleanliness most of all and the room was spotless. Kudos to the awesome housekeepers!
Thank you for the stay. I only minus one star because I was near I-70 and the traffic/view wasn’t the greatest.
