Grand Junction is home to many activities that range from river rafting, to wine tasting, to strolling through our historical downtown or art museums. Grand Junction is known for its many tourist attractions including Colorado National Monument, Powderhorn, Colorado Mesa University, and Western Colorado Wine County with some of the best wines the valley has to offer. Grand Junction features some great events such as Country Jam USA, the JUCO World Series, and our home baseball team, The GJ Rockies who have over 30 home games throughout the year.Our suites include a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, full size fridge, two burner stove top and microwave, a large desk space, a 32-inch flat screen TV, and much more! We feature a full fitness center, and our Candlewood Cupboard, where you can purchase frozen dinners or midnight snacks. Our Lending Locker provides you with crockpots, boardgames, coolers, and much more. - LBLoyal BlairJun 24, 20265.0Veteran Friendly: The biggest reason this hotel is the best in Grand Junction is top managment. Employees are friendly and helfpul. Rooms are clean and up to date, mostly with refrigerator and microwave. Checking in is easy and fast. Coffee is free, and great..waiting for me in the morning. That fresh ground coffee from coffee beans makes other coffee taste like cardboard. Bonus: (Veteran friendly) Getting a handicap accessable room "should not" be an upcharge. Its not here. A different Hotel insisted I pay an "upcharge" because the only handicapped room available was a larger suite. Instead of griping about my military discount, I was thanked for my military service, and upgraded my room to handicapped accessible at no extra charge. My wife's favorite part? No charge laundry. We did not have to try to find someone to sell us a roll of quarters to feed into a washing machine. She simply put the clothes into a washer, and the desk even had laundry detergent available at a reasonable cost with no trying to find someone who has quarters for a machine. Its the details that matter, and that made our stay there great. Its also the best value in Grand Junction by far. I travel to different states and this is my favorite place to stay.
