Only place in Glenwood I stay. Staff is always friendly, rooms clean, and lots of amenities, on a gorgeous property.

We recently stayed at the Best Western Antlers for a four-night wedding gift/birthday getaway, and unfortunately, the experience fell short of expectations.
We had reserved a one-bedroom suite, but upon arrival were given a double queen room instead, which felt like a strange and disappointing mix-up for a special trip. When we brought this to the staff’s attention, nothing was done to correct it, and there was no follow-up during our stay.
There were also several issues with the room itself. The hot water never got truly hot, the lights flickered, and the blinds wouldn’t fully close. Housekeeping was minimal—staff brought fresh towels, but the bedding was never changed during our four nights.
The one highlight is the location. It’s within easy walking distance to Iron Mountain Hot Springs and the adventure park, which made exploring the area convenient.
Overall, while the location is great, the lack of attention to detail, maintenance issues, and poor customer service made this a disappointing stay. We won’t be returning.

Gorgeous view on the Moose lodge side
We appreciated the ability to have our dog with us in the room for $30 a day. There’s a green space for you to bring your dog potty , but it has the pesticide flags everywhere on the lawn so probably not actually a safe place for your dog or any humans. It looked rather green for the severe drought that Colorado is going through.
There’s also a $10 charge for parking daily, which we didn’t know about. I also booked on Booking.com and was double charged for my room: once on booking.com and second when I got there. Took 30 minutes to resolve by waiting on hold.
Overall, a great location and close to everything that we wanted to do, including the vapor caves and walking to the main strip. The rooms are clean, and the staff was super kind . However, the surprise parking fee , double charge, and pesticides on the lawn, detracted from our experience.

I was on a motorcycle trip from Denver back to Utah. We had called a number of hours ahead to book a room. A couple of hours into our ride we ran into a snowstorm at the summit. Called just a couple of hours after we had booked the room to let them know we were having to pull off and would not be making it. The corporate reservation line said that it was too late to cancel and that they would have to get permission from the locations manager to credit the stay. I have attempted reaching Dana the manager multiple times without response. I am now fighting the room charge through my bank, as it was literally a couple of hours from booking to cancellation. I don't think I should be paying for this room. Long-term Best Western user maybe no longer using them.
Clean Venue, with friendly staff... Room was awful. Was told at check in I have to PAY PER NIGHT for parking. Why is a Best Western charging guests $10 a night for parking? This isn't Vegas.
Room was dated and awful. Broken lamps, weird stains on the walls, TV that didn't work, and an AC unit that makes a horrible rattling sound when on, verry much broken. There are 20 other hotels in Glenwood including a much nicer LaQuinta Across the street. I'll be staying there next time.
