My family and I stayed two nights at this hotel during our two week tour of Arizona, Utah, and Colorado. We loved how close and accessible the hotel is to a lot of Glenwood Springs' tourist sites and facilities. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful; and Sarah, the front desk clerk who checked us in, was extremely knowledgeable about places to go and things to do in town. We also loved the continental breakfast and relaxing hot tub. I would definitely recommend this place to others.

The hotel was clean and quiet. I was on the second floor. The stairs were a little bit difficult for someone with mobility issues, but the room was nice. Looked like it had been recently remodeled, and the grounds were kept well. They have a lot of activities to offer like Pickleball, tennis ,cornhole ,disc golf and there’s a nice swimming pool on the grounds as well. They do have a complementary breakfast which, depending on day that you go has different things to offer . Wr enjoyed our very much. It’s very close to the Hot Springs and within walking distance to a lot of the shops . We definitely will be back and I would recommend this hotel.

I did not find this Best Western location to be accommodating. Everything I asked for was a "no" and I had to bend to their desires. We tried cancelling our reservation; even called client services and it was a hard "no". I understand that part as it's part of the policy. What annoyed me was when we arrived. They told me a room was ready but that I would have to pay a $30 early check-in fee. My wife and I were just looking to put our bags in the room and our food in the fridge. Now we have to just let it sit in our hot car for a few hours before we can check-in without incurring a fee. Speaking of fees: you have to pay $10 extra to park! Ridiculous. I expect a bit more flexibility as a platinum Best Western member.
We stayed here one night as we passed through the area. I thought this was a decent pick as one of the less expensive hotel options in Glenwood. The location was good - walking distance to the main restaurant areas and Glenwood Caverns. The rooms were clean and relatively modern. My main complaint about the rooms is that the lighting was super dim. Otherwise, this was a perfectly average room. The breakfast the next morning was somewhat of a comedic disaster. For whatever reason, they had almost no plate and utensil supplies. When we arrived, there were no large plates. There were small plates that were the size of a muffin. This meant people had to stack eggs and bacon in such a ridiculous way. There was no way anyone could eat the waffles because they were 4x bigger than the available plates. On top of that, the bowls ran out shortly after I opted for cereal. To compensate for this, they literally put out red solo cups in place of the bowls. I'm not sure what manager thinks this is fine - or couldn't make an emergency run to the local grocery store to cover up this embarrassment. It's not the worst thing in the world, but it just shows a lack of basic competency. If you choose to stay here, you will be fine, but it is far from the optimal hotel choice.
