  When we arrived the staff person working was Ethan. We were 4th in line. He was polite and professional despite 3 groups coming in while he was working with the couple already at his counter. None of us together, just showing up at the same time. He was cordial and very cheerful. I asked what floor we were in and he said second. When I booked it via telephone I had requested top floor since I am a very light sleeper. That should have been 4th floor. He immediately went to work and found us another room. Once settling in, we noticed that the AC was making a sound similar to paper trapped inside. When we asked about having maintenance come lol at our, he told me that there wasn't anyone available and have is a new room a few doors down. I apologized for bothering him and he said, "You don't need to apologize, that's what we're here for!". His tone was welcoming and sincere. If every IHG had employees like this, I will be their most loyal patron. Which days A LOT since we go on multiple trips every year. At least once a month, sometimes more.

  Absolutely perfect stay. Clay checked in my dog and I. He was so positive, friendly and welcoming. Everyone else we had contact with were also so kind to both of us and wished her the best during her surgery. The room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. The free breakfast was quite good for a hotel breakfast and you can tell that everyone that works there takes pride in their work. The location was great for walking my dog and for getting some take out food (several restaurants within walking distance). Without a doubt, this is my new go-to hotel in Ft Collins.

  AC and water heater went out same time. Aptment manager set us up while they did repairs on our place. What can I say, it was better than home!

  Stayed here for 3 nights. The service was great. Very friendly front desk employees. The breakfast is absolutely amazing for a hotel! Wow! The location was convenient with restaurants located within walking distance. The beds were devine! So soft and smelled clean. The towels were soft too. My only issue was the bathroom sink. Dirty around the inner rim. The housekeeping needs to take a little more time in the bathroom. I also do not like the large bottles of soap/shampoo. I prefer the personalized sizes, as who knows what has been put into those bottles.....maybe make some adjustments?? I recommend, and I would probably stay again.

  This would be my second stay at a Holiday Inn Express, with my first being in Deadwood, SD. I had an AMAZING experience in Deadwood, so I decided to try the one in Fort Collins. I can say that I definitely prefer Deadwood's location. This wasn't a bad experience, but there were definitely some things I noticed that really weren't that good in comparison to Deadwood. Pros: Pillows and beds were super comfy, room was clean, AC worked good. Location is a nice spot Staff are super nice Breakfast was good for the most part Bathroom had a bathtub and not just a shower Hot tub was nice Cons: Loud neighbors: This is the first hotel I've stayed in that didn't have very good sound proof walls and ceilings. Got woken up twice both nights by people banging and knocking stuff around upstairs and next door. Pool was not very clean and too warm. The pool felt dirty, like it hadn't been cleaned in a while, and was way too warm given it was 100 degrees out. Breakfast sausages were pretty gross and not cooked right two mornings in a row Barely any toilet paper was put in the room, we ran out early TV channel options were super limited compared to other hotels I've stayed in Overall, it wasn't a terrible experience by any means but Deadwood's Holiday Inn beats this one by miles.
