  I checked out of the EVEN hotel 5 days ago,after being there for probably close to two weeks. There are no words to explain how well I was treated. The rooms are clean. The atmosphere is just peaceful and safe and flows! The staff...I do not want to forget anyone and Im terrible with names but that woman RAYNA sure does know how to hire a team!!! I did not have a fraction of a bad experience during my lengthy stay. I was in tears leaving because I was there under a little bump in the road and these humans just restored my faith in good beautiful people. THANK YOU TO ALL OF THE ENGLEWOOD EVEN HOTEL TEAM!!!!

  This is stupid. Kitchen closes before 9 on a weekend. Diamond members supposed to get free breakfast but can’t even get one if they just close the kitchen whenever they want.

  Hotel is clean and nice but this was honestly the most restless stay I have ever had the people above us was jumping/stomping around all day none stop it was like it was an apartment with the worst noise ever my kids could not sleep it was so much noise I complained to the front desk several times and it’s like it got worse and nothing was done I feel like we wasted our money stayed 4 nights and could not get any sleep at all I am so disappointed!

  After a long day of international travel arrived at the hotel to be told they had oversold the suite I paid for so I would be staying in a regular room. The person at the desk was apologetic and assured me the manager would refund the points I had used for the room. After a month and 4 phone calls no refund or call from the manager. Don't expect the room you reserve and pay for if you stay here!

  FILTHY + BLACK MOLD IN OUR ROOM! Google says this hotel is new; however it’s an old Holiday Inn they slapped the EVEN brand on. Claims the old building was “gutted”; however, original infrastructure remains. We arrive and get into our room which is disgusting, along with the elevator. Crust and dirt caked in all corners. We were so exhausted from the trip and I had just prepaid for 7 days with no cancellations, so I figured I would deal with it the next day, as it was midnight. Day 2 we both get sick. Stomach pain, sore throat, runny nose, lethargy, body pains, red painful swollen eyes. My daughter was so sick she stayed in bed the entire day. Had I known what I know now I wouldn’t have let her. Day 3 I am out of the room the entire day and feeling better. I thought maybe we caught a bug at the airport and it had passed. I get back into the hotel room and within minutes all the symptoms came back only more extreme. Stomach pain, nausea, running nose, face swollen, sore throat, tears pouring and blood shot (all within 5 minutes). Im dizzy so I sit down and it gets worse. As soon as the vertigo and tinnitus began I said “omg there’s mold here”. My daughter takes me to the bathroom and shows me black mold all along the wall behind the door as well as adjacent to all 3 door hinges. I call the front desk (they don’t even sound shocked) and offer to move us to another room. We had to pack as quick as we could, meanwhile I’m feeling worse and worse. We get into the hall and I had to sit down before I could attempt to get downstairs. I call corporate and explain the situation and asked what they were going to do to rectify the situation because moving to another room in the same hotel with a shared HVAC, was not a safe solution (per my doctor who I had already contacted). THIS GETS WORSE! They tell me they can’t do anything as resolution specialists and they have to call the front desk. He then starts to ask me if I sought medical attention (it had been less than 5 minutes and I told him I needed to sit before I could get downstairs to do so). He then tells me they don’t have medical on site (which why would they) and that they could not offer me medical attention. I tell him I’m going to urgent care (across the street which cost $600 for 2 people) as soon as it’s safe for me to drive, but wanted to fill out an incident report before I left the property. He tells me they don’t do that and that he spoke with the front desk and advised my only recourse would be to stay in the mold. That I could not cancel the rest of my stay. My vision was blurry, light sensitivity, ears high pitched ringing all while navigating this. I had to walk to the front desk with him on speaker. Front Desk says she never said that, the man from the call center is insisting she did. I said ok cancel- The EVEN resolution specialists repeated that I should stay. I clarify “you realize black mold is extremely toxic and I’m clarifying you are telling me to stay in black mold until I can speak with a manager in 3 days” he repeats “yes”. I cancel my reservation and they tell me to think twice about cancelling because I may not be able to find another hotel. I show the front desk pictures of the black mold on the walls, the red/ pink mold in the shower, the filthy floors and carpet, a huge stain that looks like blood on the side of the bed, the trash under the dirty exercise equipment and a PRESCRIPTION PILL Amitriptyline left on the carpet because it clearly hadn’t been vacuumed in ages. She cancels my stay, can’t refund me or credit me for the days I paid to stay in uninhabitable conditions and advises there is no GM, they have a manager who won’t be back till the day I leave and that she could not contact her at this time to update her on the emergency situation nor a resolution. I asked for her contact information (email) and was told they can’t provide that. Just to call on Tuesday. We left, went to urgent care and booked another room. This caused me to miss a business meeting. The absolute level of negligence and disregard for safety was infuriating.
