Poor New Management * Inhospitable * Discriminatory *Safety is Questionable Outside Hotel I stayed at this hotel for an extended systems integration consulting project. The hotel offered a discounted rate for guests staying longer than two weeks, which is exactly what business travelers on long-term projects look for. I paid for my stay in advance as required. When I checked out, I noticed my bill was different than I expected because no one had explained that two nights had not been charged due to what appeared to be a reservation or system error. Once Raina and Jasmine explained what had happened, I completely understood. I did not argue. I did not become upset. I did not refuse to pay. In fact, I was fully prepared to pay for those two nights immediately. Instead, Jasmine told me the hotel would waive those two nights as a courtesy. I appreciated the gesture and believed the matter had been resolved. A few days later, I called to extend my stay because my consulting project had been extended. At that point, the new General Manager informed me that I was no longer permitted to stay at the hotel because those same two nights I was told were being given to me as a courtesy had not been paid and that I supposedly could not pay for them. This was surprising because I had never refused payment and had been prepared to pay as soon as the discrepancy was explained. Jasmine said the new General Manager's name is Jessica, but I am not sure if that was her and the person she was speaking with making fun of me because my first name is Jessica or if that is her real name. That decision makes no sense. If the hotel voluntarily chose to waive the charges after I had already expressed my willingness to pay, why would I later be penalized for accepting the courtesy they offered? If the GM, Jasmine, Raina or anyone at this hotel offers you a courtesy stay, do not accept it because they will turn around accuse you of not paying later. They will then use it as a way to twist it to their need to spread their self hate to you by then banning you from the hotel and say it was your fault. There were also safety concerns during my stay. On one occasion, a staff member announced my room number out loud at the front desk where other guests could hear it. I also observed this happening to other guests. Anyone who travels regularly knows that publicly announcing room numbers is considered a safety risk. Combined with the fact that my original room smelled heavily of cigarette smoke, these issues were another reason I requested a room change. Next, my LinkedIn account notified me almost everyday I stayed there that their employee Ethan, was viewing my profile. This begs the question, "Why would he be viewing it every day since we have no work in common?" There were always men sitting in parked vehicles near the entrance for extended periods making walking alone from the parking lot into the hotel seem unsafe. Despite leaving both rooms clean, following the hotel's non-smoking policy, treating the staff respectfully, and paying for every night of my stay except the two nights the hotel chose to waive as a courtesy, GM said I am no longer allowed to stay in the hotel. This begs the questions, "Why? On what basis?" The Staff's Self Hate & Lack of Self Respect is Real - A person only hates on someone like this "just because they can" when they carry that level of hate and disrespect for themselves. Business travelers naturally choose hotels that provide competitive long-term pricing rather than paying more elsewhere for comparable accommodations. Returning consultants also provide reliable repeat business. Unfortunately, this experience reflected poor communication among staff, prejudice among staff towards guests, inconsistent decision-making, and a lack of appreciation for loyal business travelers by the GM and staff. Truly, the new management here needs to be overturned, unless they purposefully want a viper with her viper sucklings running the show.

Overall, this was a solid stay and still worth 5 stars. Check-in was quick and friendly, which made a good first impression right away. The room itself was great, clean, comfortable, and more unique than most hotels. Having workout equipment right inside the room was a really nice touch and made the stay feel different in a good way. The only downsides were that there was no breakfast and the bar wasn’t open during my stay, which would have made the experience better. Even with that, the room and overall stay were very good, and I’d stay here again.

Worst hotel ever. Flight got canceled and they would not refund my money even though I canceled in plenty of time. Then have the audacity to try to sell me a vacation pkg.

This was a pitstop during my travels home and I did not attempt to check in until after 10 pm (this hotel has a security system in place for their guests) I tried calling the front desk using the phone placed in the entrance area and I stayed on the line because no one had yet answered and I was greeted by a staff member shouting at me from the lobby to hang up, I assume the ringing was bothersome but I did not appreciate the hostility. Other than that small hiccup trying to check into the hotel, my stay was quiet and brief. I appreciate the cleanliness of the room I had; the showers and comfortable beds were definitely my favorite especially after spending my entire day flying. Checkout was quick and easy.
