- SLSamuel Larson3 days ago1.0Booked a room for 3 adults and 2 queen beds through priceline. Got to the hotel, and checked in. Got to the room and there was only one king bed. Went back to the lobby and asked for the 2 queens we ordered. Was told there were none available. We asked to cancel, she wrote our name down and told us to contact priceline who will call the hotel to authorize the refund. We left and went to the Fairfield across the street. After checking into the Fairfield, I immediately called priceline to process the refund. They couldn't get ahold of the front desk for two days. When they finally got in contact with the front desk, the employee denied the refund stating we did stay there. Apparently the front desk never checked us out even though she wrote our room and name down on the yellow paper by the desk to process the refund... I've wasted like 6+ hours of my time trying to get in contact with management and have them investigate this and process my refund. I've opened a case with IHG, they've left voicemail to the manager with my direct number, and I never hear anything back. All you have to do is ask the person who was on shift when we checked in or check the cameras. Not only this, but I recently found out the front desk also double charged me. What I thought was my security deposit, was actually another room! She didn't charge the virtual card priceline gave on file. She asked me to swipe mine again, so I was charged twice. Now I'm stuck with a charge for 2 rooms I never even stayed at. Going to report this to Amex. I uploaded GPS timeline as proof.
