A/c didn’t work, ( hot outside and 17th floor) Pancake and coffee machine didn’t work. Elevator was a hit and miss with access cards. Front door didn’t want to open. ( other guests had to let you in from the inside) . When leaving doors did not want to open. (had to use wheelchair button to leave). Positive was good location and clean rooms. But we would not stay again.

DON’T stay here! Fair warning — the rooms have no working AC. Our room was unbearably hot, and the front desk only gave us one small box fan.
Customer service was terrible, and the maintenance employee, Miguel, was extremely rude. We left after only three hours and booked a different hotel. Stay anywhere else.

Go elsewhere. The mattress is painful to lay on for long periods of time, you can feel every body that was there before you. There is no fan in the bathroom and just stank, still air. The thermostat is locked so if you need it changed in anyway you must call up front and ask them to do so. The room is so small the fold out couch doesn’t fold out all the way. We had to move things around just to open it. Would never fit 4 adults in the room and the breakfast starts way too late, especially on weekdays. Gianni is the only good thing about this place. He was helpful, got us breakfast because we left extra early and went above and beyond. Would never, ever go back but Gianni deserves all the praise. They should thank him with a huge raise because he was the only good thing about this visit. Spend your money somewhere else.

If I could rate this hotel negatively I would. We booked months in advanced through Expedia for a room. When we arrived we didn't realize there was no parking lot for us to park in. They did have a valet service that was $51 a day which we were unaware of until arriving. We asked the valet about other parking he seemed annoyed and bothered to tell us where other parking was. Found paid parking a few blocks away. Finally get to check in when the man asked us for a $100 deposit with a credit card which we were also unaware of. I've had my card kept on file but not a total deposit pulled from my account. I then told the gentlemen that we had paid for the room in advanced. The man then explained to me that we paid for the room itself and taxes but not the deposit. We then explained we didn't have the money to do so, being that we had went to Denver on a specific budget we didn't have the $100 on a card. The man looked at me with a disgusted look like I was trash and said " you dont have a $100 on this card?" We then explained that we didn't and asked what would happen if we couldn't afford the deposit. The man said "then you don't get the room". We ended up paying got up to our room which was room 673. Although the room was clean, it wasn't at all what we paid for which was a one bed and walk in shower. A light bulb was out, the phone in the room didn't work. The remote worked like crap there was no fridge in it. My husband went to go shower and the water was luke warm for 5 minutes then turned cold. We left to go to a dinner reservation and had explained the problems with the room before we left. They assured us it would be fixed. That was about 5:00 pm. We got back around 8:30/9:00pm. We tried the shower once more it was plain cold not heat at all. I called downstairs using my phone they sent up an "engineer" to fix it. He flushed the toilet a couple times and the shower got warm. We thought it was fixed. Disappointingly we were wrong. My husband had to keep flushing the toilet multiple times to get the shower to keep warm every few minutes. Morning approached as we needed to pay for our parking again. We then talked to a gentleman in the morning(Gianni) who was overly helpful. We asked to move rooms and explained our issues and the whole situation that had happened. He was very apologetic and concerned for us. He asked what would accommodate our needs and even explained things to do around the area and gave us pointers for other enjoyments. Gianni was nothing but helpful, professional, amazing and overall the best one there. If we could rate just Gianni it would be 5 stars all around and 10/10 recommend him. He moved us rooms to 1662. That room was much better. Had the one king bed, the view was great it was a corner room, water was nice and hot in the walk in shower, had a fridge and microwave and remote worked great. We then enjoyed the remainder of our stay thanks to Gianni. Unfortunately due to the 1st day being completely unreasonable, horrible and overall a disgraceful experience we will NOT be back.

I'm not usually picky about hotels, but this place had a ton of issues.
First, you can't control the temperature in your room. When we arrived, the AC was blasting cold air 24/7 even though it was snowing outside. To change the temperature, we had to go down to talk to the front desk (because the phone in our room was broken) and ask them to send the handy man in, who came by a couple hours later. He made some adjustments and then the unit was blasting hot air 24/7 instead. We had to go to the desk again, who promised the maintenance guy would come back in 10 minutes, but over an hour later he finally made another adjustment, and it was only semi-comfortable. Why not just let us control the thermostat in the rooms? This is a solved problem that even the crappiest hotels get right.
Second, they let the free breakfast run out of items well before closing time. I went down 30 minutes before end of breakfast on a Saturday and they were out of pancakes, cinnamon rolls, and apple juice. Also they have only two slow coffee machines for a giant hotel, and there's always a long line to use them. Just have pre-made coffee like everyone else, it's not like the machines will even make a latte.
Third, the toilet wouldn't flush. They have a handle that can be pushed in any direction, but none of the directions seemed to work. Turns out you have to push the handle straight into the wall with a lot of force. If you're going to have a weird flushing handle, why not at least have a sign explaining how it works?
Fourth, when we arrived a little after midnight, we had to wait 20 minutes for them to be able to make a room key because their system was rebooting.
Fifth, the only parking is $50 valet parking ... for a Holiday Inn. Thankfully if you get the spot hero app you can find drastically cheaper parking nearby, but you shouldn't have to.
