**Great Stay & Excellent Service!**
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The property has been nicely updated and was very clean and well-maintained. From check-in to check-out, everything was a great experience.
Sofia, the front desk manager, was excellent and provided outstanding customer service. She was very welcoming, helpful, and made sure we had everything we needed. She even allowed us to check in early, which was greatly appreciated. Sofia also recommended some great restaurants in the area, which made our stay even better.
I also want to give a special shout-out to Curtis, the shuttle driver. He was friendly, professional, and very helpful. He made getting around easy and was always pleasant to interact with.
Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel. The clean, updated property and exceptional service from Sofia made for a very enjoyable stay. I would happily stay here again!
Perfect Hotel location! Provides easy access to Denver International AirPort. Clean room , Friendly staff and Quick Check in . The Bed was super comfortable and made for a restful night. Took the Airport shuttle (arrived on time ). Friendly driver got me and my family there safe and on time. I had never heard of Garner but I had good luck with other IHG properties, Gave Garner a shot and didn’t disappoint!!
I checked into the hotel at Denver Airport around midnight and unfortunately had a terrible experience from the moment I arrived.
At check-in, the front desk clerk told me that the hotel had a shuttle to the airport at 7:00 a.m. I explained that I needed to get to the airport earlier than that, and she told me I would need to take an Uber. I accepted that information and made other arrangements.
I was assigned room 130. The air conditioner was leaking so badly that there was water all over the floor, yet the room was still not getting cold. The room smelled strongly like a minnow bucket. There were also NUMEROUS spider webs and spiders in the bathroom, including above the shower.
Given the condition of the room, I strongly recommend that management have room 130 professionally inspected for bedbugs and other pests. Between the leaking AC, wet conditions, spiders, and overall cleanliness, I was also concerned about the potential for respiratory problems or infections after staying in the room.
The situation with the airport shuttle was the final straw. Despite specifically asking about transportation to the airport the night before, I discovered that there actually was a shuttle running. When I attempted to take it, the shuttle driver refused to let me board because, according to him, "your name's not on the list." When I explained that I had asked the front desk about the shuttle the night before and had been told I would need to get an Uber, the driver proceeded to cuss at me.
This was an unacceptable experience from beginning to end. The room was in poor condition, there were obvious cleanliness and maintenance issues, there were spiders and concerns about pests, communication from the front desk was inadequate, and the interaction with the shuttle driver was completely unprofessional.
This hotel only takes your money and leaves you with no hospitality. I would not stay here again and strongly recommend that travelers consider other options before booking this hotel.
Very similar experience to other reviewers. After flying for nearly 12 hours due to delays at Denver, I arrived here only to be told they will not honor my United-issued voucher because it’s “after 10 pm” and they gave my room away/were sold out. Keep in mind there was literally no way for me to get to the hotel by then given all the delays and when I landed.
When I called United on the spot, they told me this was a bogus rule and tried to call the front desk directly, but the man working refused to pick up the phone. I had no choice but to sleep on the floor of the airport that night since all other hotels nearby were taken.
Avoid this hotel, the man who was working the front desk could do to learn some basic human decency.

After my flight was canceled, I ended up staying at Garner Denver Airport Hotel, and it was exactly what I needed. It seems to be a popular choice for travelers dealing with flight cancellations, so the lobby can get a little busy. Even with the steady flow of guests, the staff handled everything with patience, professionalism, and kindness. Check-in was quick, straightforward, and I was in my room in no time.
The room itself was very clean, comfortable, and perfect for an overnight stay. It’s not a luxury hotel, nor does it pretend to be—but it absolutely delivers where it matters. The bed was comfortable, everything felt well-kept, and, most importantly, the hotel felt clean. It wasn’t seedy, run-down, or grimy in the slightest.
The hotel also offers a pool, a fitness room, and a complimentary breakfast in the morning, which are great perks, especially if you’re unexpectedly stuck overnight. They also provide a free airport shuttle, and if occupancy allows, they’ll gladly offer a late checkout. Even after checking out, they’ll securely store your luggage so you can head into Denver or explore the area without dragging your bags along. That extra flexibility made an already stressful travel day much easier.
If you’re stranded because of a canceled flight or simply need an affordable, clean, and comfortable hotel near Denver International Airport, Garner is an excellent value. It’s welcoming, convenient, and exactly the kind of place you hope to find when travel doesn’t go according to plan.
