  I don’t normally leave reviews, but after my experience at avid hotel, I absolutely had to. I ended up stranded in Denver after a delayed flight, and from the moment I arrived the staff was incredibly kind and accommodating. Sandy at the front desk especially went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. After an already long and stressful travel day, having someone be that helpful and genuinely caring made such a difference. The hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and exactly what I needed, but the exceptional service is what really stood out. I didn’t know anyone in Denver and was there completely unexpectedly, yet I felt very well taken care of throughout my stay. I truly could not recommend this hotel enough. If I ever find myself in Denver again, avid will absolutely be my first choice. Thank you so much to Sandy and the entire team for making an unfortunate travel situation so much better!

  Nice rooms, but the primary staff person we encountered - Brittany - was terrible. We had a severely delayed flight, ended up arriving around 2:30 am and leaving on another flight the next morning. The airline put us up at this hotel and we were hoping for a few hours of sleep. After calling the hotel for the 24/7 shuttle right after landing, we were told very rudely by Brittany to call back after we were at the exit. We did (only a short time later since we didn't have checked luggage), then we were told that no one was available to leave the hotel to get us for at least 30 mins or more (the hotel is 10-15 min from the airport so that puts us in our hotel room at least an hour later). Already short on time, we had to pay for an overpriced $45 taxi to get to the hotel. Brittany was just as unpleasant in person, acting as if we were inconveniencing her by checking in while she was working. I'm disappointed in the customer service we received especially staying at IHG properties all the time and encountering much better service.

  Needed a place to stay in a pinch. The hotel was decent for a last minute book. It's within walking distance to many restaurants on the block. The room was small, but clean and everything worked properly. My main issue is the shuttle running to the airport. We booked a shuttle for 4am. Walked out at 4:01 was told the shuttle had left. Front desk told me I was pretty much SOL that I would have to hire a driver to take us to the airport. I asked if I could wait for the next shuttle and she said the next available one wouldn't be until about an hour because they're all full. So I had to use Uber and the driver showed up immediately. The fact that we missed the shuttle in about a minute's time definitely left a sour taste in my mouth. I know they're on a schedule but a minute is crazy.

  This hotel has some serious management problems- total false advertising for 24/7 every 30 minute airport shuttle and there was NO breakfast as advertised. Due to crazy flight delays, a large group of is stranded travelers stayed here until our flights the next day. Chose this place specifically due to shuttle access and breakfast. The group in front of me needed the shuttle at 5:30 am- nope. They could only get the shuttle at 3:30 am or 6:30 am. They advertise free hot breakfast- nope, nothing, not even store bought granola bars or muffins. There was coffee but the coffee bar was a sticky mess. The room was small but cute and clean.
