  I chose Atwell Suites after my flight was diverted to Albuquerque before finally arriving in Denver around 11:00 p.m. Because the delays caused us to miss our connecting flight, we only needed a place to sleep for a few hours before returning to the airport. At nearly $160 for about five hours, I expected the basics to be handled well. When we checked in, we signed up for the 4:00 a.m. airport shuttle. We were in the lobby and ready to go by 3:50 a.m. At 4:00, the front desk attendant said the driver was “usually not late” and that he would call him. A few moments later, he told us the driver would be there in five minutes. By 4:15, the shuttle still hadn’t arrived. I asked the attendant if he knew when the driver would be there, and he simply said he didn’t know. When I asked if he could call the driver again, he flatly said “no,” without showing any concern or making any effort to help. With our flight boarding at 5:15 a.m., we couldn’t afford to wait any longer and had to pay for a Priority Lyft to make sure we got to the airport on time. Delays happen, and I understand that. My disappointment isn’t that the shuttle was late it’s how the situation was handled. A little communication, empathy, or even an attempt to follow up with the driver would have made a big difference. For guests relying on an advertised airport shuttle, especially after an exhausting travel day, customer service matters. Unfortunately, this experience left me feeling dismissed and made the cost of the stay feel even less worthwhile.

  My stay was from 06/19/26-06/21/26. The hotel itself was nice and it’s a great convenient location for the airport and Gaylord conference center. Breakfast was okay (somewhat flavorless). The reason this gets 3 stars is that the fire alarm went off twice; in the afternoon after my wife showered and again in the evening after I showered. Then 30 minutes to an hour later (after we’d fallen asleep) we get a call checking in to see if we were okay. Rather late in my opinion and woke us up. This issue needs to be addressed as this is not a cheap hotel by any means (~$214 a night after Tax). So with the subpar breakfast and fire alarm going off this drops down to 3 stars. Also if you’re a platinum member like me get the snack instead of the points. Their snack selection is decent.

  The staff inside of the hotel were excellent and Maryella who drives the shuttle should get a promotion and pay raise. We came from Saint Augustine Florida and her service was exemplary. Thank you.
