This is a Best Western, but the owners take superb care of the facility, and the staff were so welcoming and helpful that it reminded me of the attention to detail and level of service you see in European boutique hotels. The front desk was welcoming and ran the check in so smoothly and warmly that I regretted booking a stay at another hotel in town that I was testing out. The swimming pool was clean and well maintained, and they even let me know the draining and refilling cycle on the hot tub. Housekeeping was top notch, and the room had a neutral clean room smell, not that weird deodorized odor you often find in chain hotels. This is a great hotel for the price, and both individual travelers and families will appreciate it. Thank you for reminding me what hospitality can look like on the road.
