  The hotel is very short staffed. Everything looks very worn in the room and there are beer cans left in the hallways. The pool is closed and looks green. It reminds me of a college dorm.

  I stayed at the Holiday inn Express at Broomfield Colorado Tuesday August 18th until Friday morning August 21st, 2026. The hotel was very full, but the front desk staff was very friendly. My room was in a quiet location which I always ask for because I'm a light sleeper. Most of the rest of this stay went downhill from there. The air conditioner was malfunctioning and made a very loud noise when the compressor started and the noise persisted while the air conditioner ran. The noise woke me intermittently throughout every night. I asked to change rooms, but the only two rooms available were next to the laundry and directly across from the elevator lobby. I didn't understand why they simply didn't fix the air conditioner, even if I wasn't staying in it someone else would have to stay with a malfunctioning air conditioner. The turntable on the underpowered microwave did not work right, making it difficult to use. The first day the breakfast bar was staffed by only one person and they had not received a food delivery that included several staples, such as low-fat milk and plain yogurt. More significantly, the hotel has removed all of the coffee makers from the hotel rooms. The hotel provides two coffee makers in The breakfast lobby area. This is fine during times when meals are not being served, but one of the machines was broken 2 out of the three days. The front desk workers said that this is a consistent problem and that maintenance is not able to keep the machines running. The effect is that most mornings you have to buy coffee somewhere else which is inconvenient. This is the second time in 6 months that I have stayed at a Holiday inn Express with the exact same problem with their air conditioner compressors. The systemic problem will cause me to look for hotels other than Holiday inn Express, despite the fact that I'm a platinum member with hundreds of thousands of ihg points.

  Really cute location, easy to access off freeway. Very clean and friendly staff We were on the road early so did not get breakfast but it smelled good! Downside was pool and hot tub was closed due to maintenance which I was not told while booking or when I checked in. After traveling all day I was really looking forward to the hot tub. Took a bath instead, was bumped soap was empty but I managed to just use the shampoo.

  I’m sure I’m gonna get the automated response of worst driving to always improve. We apologize and all the other garbage that they think makes everything better. Because now it’s a Google review when it should’ve been taken care of at the hotel both assistant manager, and the general manager are extremely professional, because I brought up to their attention about the cleanliness of the room. It just shows the lack of professionalism that they both do not have, and how childish they’re responses were so strive to do better on that in your response to this. I will be also sending a complaint to your hospitality company as well.

  ★☆☆☆☆ — Absolute Lack of Professionalism & Customer Service, Do not recommend. I recently booked a reservation at this location, but when my spouse arrived to check in, she was turned away by a front desk attendant named Shyanne, who was exceptionally rude and dismissive. To resolve the issue, I immediately contacted corporate reservations and updated the booking solely into my spouse’s name. Even after this was complete, Shyanne remained openly hostile and unhelpful. While my spouse waited for the update to reflect, we witnessed her treating multiple other arriving guests with the exact same dismissive attitude. This experience was so unacceptable that I immediately canceled a secondary, multi-night weekend reservation I had booked at this property. Management needs to address front-desk training and customer service standards immediately. I will not be returning to this hotel and strongly advise others to look elsewhere.
