We booked a last minute room and couldn't have been happier with our stay! Checking in was easy and we thought the service throughout our stay was great. The Lodge offers a free shuttle service to Main Street that is super easy to call and use. Our driver, Patrick, was friendly and gave us recommendations of what to do during our stay. We will definitely consider staying again during future visits to Summit County.

Loved this place when we came last year...gorgeous views, convenient shuttle service, comfy rooms, friendly staff. All that still exists, but some unexpected changes when we arrived this year were disappointing. At check in, we were notified that there was no longer a complimentary breakfast as of the day we arrived. It feels like a dishonest business practice to not have had that clearly noted on the website when we booked, just 4 days prior to our arrival. When booking, the website showed a complimentary breakfast as an amenity included in the $30 per night resort fee. One of the things we loved about the Lodge was being able to grab a quick simple breakfast from the buffet, eat on the deck, then head out early for our Breck adventures. Now, a sit-down breakfast is pricey and slow, especially since they were understaffed. They did give us two $15 breakfast vouchers, but that is not even close to covering "complimentary" breakfast for two with a 2-night stay. (The manager was lovely though and did acknowledge our concern & disappointment and offer some recourse after the bumpy breakfast roll out this morning.) Had they been upfront & honest about this planned change on the website when booking last week, we would have planned accordingly. Just makes me not want to support a business that made us feel taken advantage of. We were also sad to see the coffee/tea service that was in the lobby last year no longer exists. With that said, this is a lovely spot with lovely staff...not sure if we'll stay here again, but this has prompted us to (sadly) explore other options for our next Breck visit.

The Lodge at Breckenridge was a beautiful place to stay. The mountain views are the kind you remember, especially waking up and looking out over the snow and peaks. The lodge has a warm Colorado feel, the setting is peaceful, and it still felt easy to get around Breckenridge. Great spot for a mountain getaway.

We love this lodge! We chose to stay here again after a great visit last year and we will return! We loved the Sunlight Suite. It was super clean and spacious and the bath towels were so good we ordered some for home. The shuttle is really a great amenity and staff are super helpful. The only draw back or area of improvement is breakfast. We just go downtown to the Blue Moose instead. They have a really great breakfast. Until next year!

Overall great experience and would be back again. The front desk was very helpful as our first room (221) stayed at 80 degrees (outside temp was low 40s), with all windows open and a fan to blow the heat out. Our thermostat was off but unfortunately the room still radiated heat pretty relentlessly. They did accommodate a room change with a/c and it made a huge difference. This is the only concern I would mention considering before booking as not all rooms have air conditioning. This aside, the views are top notch. The hot tub sits outside with a view of the mountains as well as the restaurant. The shuttle service was a nice plus to get to and from town, however, be careful booking on third party apps as there is a $30+ daily service fee that hides in the fine print. Booking directly is best. It will still be applied but you have better transparency with the charges as Hotels.com didn't include it (I had to pay onsite). I really wish these third party apps would make it more transparent and I am not sure if it is the lodges fault.
