- MSMeredith SherrittJul 3, 20261.0I made an honest mistake and booked the wrong check-in date through American Express Travel for a stay that was over $1,200 per night. I fully own that error—people make mistakes. What disappointed me was the response from a hotel that positions itself as a luxury property. In the days before my arrival, the hotel contacted me multiple times for my ID, payment authorization, and other pre-arrival details. Yet after I never checked in on my scheduled arrival date, no one called, texted, or emailed to ask if I was still planning to arrive. A simple courtesy call would have immediately caught the mistake. When I arrived the following day, the front desk kindly credited one unused night. The manager also indicated there may be a possibility of refunding the second unused night if American Express contacted the hotel. Based on that conversation, I left believing the matter was still being considered. I could not extend my stay because they were fully booked the following evening. However, within about 15 minutes, American Express called on my behalf and was told the request was denied. I've experienced more understanding and flexibility from far less expensive and less prestigious hotels when honest mistakes have happened. Policies are important, but luxury hospitality is about exceptional service, empathy, and discretion when situations like this arise. Unfortunately, this experience didn't reflect the level of hospitality I expected from a property at this price point. Limelight Aspen nearby was able to accommodate me quickly and gave much better service, highly recommend a stay there.

We have stayed here about 4-5 times now, and they’re always consistent, kind, and and all around enjoyable stay! This particular stay, we were in town for Food&Wine Classic and the AC went out. Despite the heat, full house of guests, and juggling everything else, the team worked tirelessly to get it back up and running in no time, with HVAC techs on site at sunrise to get it remedied. The front desk attendant, Maria, was particularly helpful, kind, and kept her cool during all of this. We so appreciated her level of professionalism. We can’t wait to come back! Thank you, MOLLIE team, for a wonderful Aspen stay as always.

Carolina coordinated everything through a simple text chain ahead of time, which was so easy, and when we got back to our room she had champagne, flowers, a framed photo from the proposal, and chocolate waiting for us. They also upgraded our room without us asking. It all felt genuinely thoughtful, not like a checkbox. The property and location are beautiful on top of all of it. If you are planning something special, this is the place.

What are my airport transportation options?
MOLLIE Aspen offers complimentary airport transportation to and from Aspen/Pitkin County Airport (ASE).
To book your arrival: Please text your travel details (flight number, arrival time, and number of guests) to (970) 499-1965 before you land. Once you’ve arrived at ASE, head to the courtesy transportation area outside the terminal and look for an olive-colored MOLLIE vehicle.
For your departure: Transfers must be booked in advance and depart on the hour and half-hour. We recommend a departure time 90 minutes to 2 hours prior to your flight.
What are my valet parking options?
Valet parking is available for $60 per night. Valet spaces are located in the lot behind the hotel, as space allows, and on the street surrounding the hotel.

What are my self-parking options?
MOLLIE is surrounded by several Residential Parking Zones. Parking in Residential Zones is $8 per day. You must move your vehicle every 72 Hours, or you will be subject to a tow. All day passes can be purchased using Text2Park, a pay station, or the PayByPhone app.
Two hours of FREE parking per day is available in Residential Parking Zones. No re-parking is permitted. One visit per residential zone, per day.
Parking in Residential Zones is FREE between 6:00 PM – 9:59 AM nightly (watch signs for exclusions), and FREE on Saturdays, Sundays & Qualifying Holidays*
Covered parking is available at the Rio Grande Parking Plaza located at 427 Rio Grande Place at $12 per day. From Main Street, turn north on Mill Street and travel one block. Turn east on Rio Grande Place and the garage is located on the south side of the street.

Dogs are welcome at MOLLIE. There is a $50 fee per night, capped at a maximum of $150 per stay. One dog is permitted per room and never to be left in the room unattended. What is the minimum age required to check-in?
You must be 18 or older to book a room and check in. For security purposes, you will be asked to provide a valid government or state-issued photo ID and a credit card at check-in.
Why is there a hold on my credit card?
Your credit card will be authorized for $100 per night at check-in to cover incidental charges. Any unused funds will be released by the hotel at check-out. Depending on your bank’s processing speed, the funds will be returned to your card within one to five business days. Please note that this may take longer for international cards outside of North America.
Are there any additional fees I should know about?
All reservations are subject to a $50 daily resort fee.
