ZERO STARS. BUGS IN BED AND ABRASIVE STAFF. Absolutely disgusting experience at SureStay by Best Western in Williams, CA. My family and I were traveling with our 9-month-old daughter while I am also pregnant. we found red oval bugs crawling in BOTH queen beds, including near the pillow area where our baby was sleeping. We also found additional bugs throughout the room, spiders in corners, visible dust, and what appeared to be bug nesting near the towels. The entire room felt filthy and severely neglected. When we brought this to the front desk in the morning, the man identifying himself as “Parker” (real name Prakash) was shockingly rude, aggressive, and disrespectful. Instead of apologizing or taking accountability, he raised his voice, argued with us, dismissed our concerns, threatened to call the police for absolutely no reason, and followed us outside while CURSING at us in a foreign language. We have never experienced behavior this unprofessional from hotel management before. We stay in hotels often, including Best Western properties, and this was by far one of the worst experiences we have ever had. Families, especially those with children, should avoid this property until serious cleanliness, pest control, and management issues are addressed.

Cheap and a good place to sleep, but it's pretty rough around the edges. It's weird, some stuff seems really new and nice, other parts seem quite neglected, so maybe they're in the middle of renovations. It's clean, but it doesn't make you feel clean after you start looking around. Not terrible, but just seems old and in need of some work. Some of the issues I encountered below are minor, but just felt very inconvenient: -A dirty-looking wet towel was in the bathroom, seems like something is leaking based off the bubbled paint. -Hardly any channel seemed to work -Water temp adjuster for shower was broken, it just kept spinning around so I was waiting for 5min for it to get warm, only to realize I had gone around back to cold, so I just had to move it slowly around in a circle until I felt the water warm up and then stop moving it. -Possibly mold in the shower. I'm not an expert, but it looked like it could be mold. Some good things: -clean bed - clean furniture -nice floors

It's close to the freeway and cheap. Rooms smell like smoke. The breakfast is pancakes or toast, no Danish. Pool hours are 9am-9pm. No hot tub. Front desk staff were very friendly and attentive when we arrived. The rooms needed some maintenance, like the luggage rack being broken and the tile in the bathroom having considerable grime or mold. The beds were clean and comfortable. There were many other guests roaming around the parking lot and in front of their rooms smoking and talking. It wasn't too noisy in the room but it was a little odd. Overall it's a cheap stay close to the freeway if that's what you're looking for.

Billy Joel sang, "Honesty is such a lonely word/Everyone is so untrue." Well, i am happy to say Billy was wrong about the folks who run this hotel. They were honest, and in today's world, THAT is rare and to be appreciated. I stayed there a couple weeks ago, and forgot my headphones in my room...headphones my wife gave me on my birthday. You could say they were sentimental or you could say I'm terrified of my wife's wrath, both true. In a panic, I called from the road 6 hours away and the gentleman who checked me in answered said he recognized my voice, said he'd check the room. This is where I got worried. I was 100% positive I left them there, but this - leaving my stuff - has happened before at other hotels. I'm a total airhead. And when I've highlighted the fact I left something worth $300 to other hotel staff, I've repeatedly gotten the soul-crushing and infuriating... "We didn't find it." All you KARMA believers...If you are okay with a great price for a decently clean room, a decent bed, no frills, but want to give your money to GOOD PEOPLE....please stay at this Hotel.
