  I am so happy that I chose to this hotel. I stayed here for my birthday trip and it was exactly what I needed. The room was clean, the amenities were stocked, and the breakfast was good. The location was perfect for me to get to the beach and the city without to far of a journey. It is next to a major freeway and major cross streets so if you're looking for total silence then you may want to bring noise canceling headphones like I did. But, what solidified that this is one of my favorite hotels from here on out is the staff. In particular David and Rebecca. David made my stay so magical with his bubbly personality and professionalism. He went above and beyond the call of service by not just displaying top notch customer service but by being so personable and likeable. He not only made sure to meet my room request but acknowledged by birthday with a gift that brought me to tears. Thank you to the entire staff for making my stay a unforgettable one. But especially to David. I hope that the company recognizes the gem that they have in David working with them. I will definitely be returning and I absolutely recommend this place.

  My visit was pleasant. David in recruiting was so kind and accomodating. He made me feel very welcome! The breakfast was so nice. Everything was fresh and clean. Antonio and Delia were so welcoming.

  Great hotel for the location. Amenities areas are exceptionally maintained. Delia ensured we had a pleasant morning during breakfast. Antonio was very attentive during our whole stay and was very meticulous at keeping the breakfast lounge clean. He was also a wonderful cook. We enjoyed the breakfast and our stay overall. Would definitely come back to stay again as it was very affordable for the location. Hopefully next time there is less construction near the area.

  We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express because our daughter had appointments with specialists at UCLA Hospital. We interacted with many employees at the hotel from the front desk staff, the food server at the buffet breakfast as well as the cleaning staff and the employees in the garage who also helped us. I’m sorry I didn’t get more names… the front desk staff helped us extend our stay when we had more test at the hospital as well as the cleaning staff, Mica, Claudia and Delia were awesome! Your employees are all exemplary and should be commended for treating guests first class! Thank You

  Holiday Inn Express is a Hilton hotel and this one is next to Sawtelle Japantown in West Los Angeles. It's right off the highway so it's easy to get to. They have some parking in the garage but not so much outside. The rooms are normal sized, beds are fine, and bathrooms are clean. The staff here are friendly and helpful with local recommendations. Prices here are pretty good and since it's between Santa Monica and Hollywood, it's a decent spot to stay.
