  Condescending manager on a power trip refused to send a copy of our invoice to the email on file when I questioned what appeared to be unauthorized charges on my credit card. We were not provided a copy at check out. But the IHG chat immediately provided us with the invoice.

  I've stayed here many times and this property has genuinely been my favorite which makes this review all the more disappointing to write. During my most recent stay, there was no hot water. When I contacted the front desk, staff confirmed there were known plumbing issues and that multiple guests had already complained. My concern isn't just the inconvenience it's the lack of transparency. When I checked in, I specifically requested a room with a bathtub. That would have been the natural moment for staff to mention the hot water situation, and they didn't. I had to go to my gym to take a hot shower. I hope management addresses both the plumbing and the communication with guests. This place has a lot going for it, and I'd genuinely like to return but not until I can trust that known issues will be disclosed upfront.

  I don’t even know where to start but I got stuck in some disgusting dirty motel next door and I booked Crowne Plaza few hours later and front desk lady Marida was angel send from God . She saved me from dirty motel next door ( cheeked me early )and was so welcoming. If I stayed in that motel next door I wouldn’t never visit Ventura again and experience beautiful beach with my dogs and all beautiful food Ventura has to offer . From front desk my beautiful angel Marida to valet drivers service is magnificent. Rooms are very clean and view is oceanfront spectacular . This people really care . Every time I visit California this is my spot and everyone visiting in Ventura I will send them your way .By the way my angel front desk lady hooked me up with free breakfast and few drinks for free like she didn’t do enough. I can’t wait to book another trip here next month .

  A comfortable stay with stunning ocean views. The rooms were clean, spacious, and well-equipped with all essential amenities. The highlight is definitely the location, right by the beach, offering beautiful sunset views. Staff was professional and helpful throughout the stay. Great option for both business and leisure travelers.

  This was honestly the worst hotel experience we’ve ever had. We visited in mid March 2026. When we first arrived, we expected to check in and then move our car to the self parking afterward like we do at most hotels. As we pulled into the entrance, traffic was completely full and backed up into the street. A valet attendant immediately came over and told us we had to go to the self-parking garage across the plaza. We weren’t even given the option to pull forward and bypass the valet cars or even unload our luggage at the drive through entrance. We were basically forced to leave and park in the garage. We ended up parking at the very top level. The self-parking elevator wasn’t working, so we had to carry luggage and walk 4 levels down the ramp with our three young kids. By the time we made it to the hotel entrance, the hotel entrance had cleared out so all that walking was for nothing. At check-in we were told there was an event happening at the hotel, which is why the entrance and parking situation was such a mess. Once inside, things didn’t get much better. One of the three elevators in the lobby wasn’t working and the other working elevators were extremely slow. There was a long line of people waiting to use the elevator and here we are, a family of 5 with luggage trying to get into one crammed elevator with several impatient strangers. One of our two room keys didn’t work, so my husband went back down to get a new one, and that replacement key didn’t work either so we dealt with just one which was inconvenient. The room itself had several problems. The bathroom light switch didn’t work, the mini fridge didn’t work, and the WiFi kept disconnecting. The mattress was extremely sunken in and felt very old. It was uncomfortable enough that my husband and I woke up multiple times during the night. On top of all of that, the hotel sits right next to loud train tracks and a busy road. There were constant train horns and traffic noise throughout the night. Traveling with three kids already makes things more challenging, and the number of issues here made the stay incredibly frustrating. It was a terrible start to our spring break. Any place is better than this hotel. Good thing we were passing through, only stayed for one night. I would definitely recommend looking elsewhere.
