Absolutely loved our stay at the Venice Beach Hotel. My buddy and I stayed in a two-bedroom, two-bathroom ocean-view room and it was fantastic from start to finish.
The room was spotlessly clean, the beds were incredibly comfortable, and the bathrooms and showers were lovely, with great products and everything beautifully maintained.
What really stood out, though, was the staff. They were genuinely wonderful — warm, helpful and willing to do absolutely anything they could to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. That kind of service feels increasingly rare these days, and it made such a difference.
The location is unbeatable, right on the Venice boardwalk by the skate park. Inevitably, that means there can be some ambient street noise at night, so bring a pair of earplugs and you’ll be absolutely fine.
A brilliant stay in an incredible location. I loved it and will definitely be coming back.

Absolutely loved my stay at the Venice V Hotel. The hotel is beautiful, authentic, and full of character — it has a very special charm that feels completely different from a typical chain hotel and fits Venice perfectly.
The location is honestly incredible. Being right by Venice Beach and waking up to views like this made the stay feel really special. The rooms are stylish and comfortable, the beds are fantastic, and I slept incredibly well.
What stood out just as much was the staff. Everyone I interacted with was exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and helpful, which made the whole experience even better.
One of those hotels where the atmosphere, location, and people all come together perfectly. I would absolutely stay here again next time I’m in LA.
Check in was easy and the receptionist was very friendly.
We stayed in Penthouse 5 which I think is the best room.
The room was top notch and very well appointed, exceeding our expectations.
First thing we did was play Nat King Cole on the record player which added to the ambiance of the room and views.
We also loved the complementary bikes they provided for their guests.
Outside the the resort is the skateboard bowls, roller skating park and muscle beach on top of the eclectic boardwalk with numerous restaurants.
Walking home around 9:30 pm from a restaurant was colorful to say the least, but we never felt unsafe.
Only bad thing is we couldn’t stay longer.
This review is for PH2 which is large loft-like 400sf space with king bed, exposed brick walls, high ceilings, south and west windows overlooking the speedway, beach and ocean views.
Great spot to spend experience a quintessentially SoCal locale. Right on the Venice Beach boardwalk it’s busy but clears out after 11pm. Double -paned windows effectively keep out the noise.
Built in 1915 this is the rare building in the area over century old. Great ambience. Slow elevator. Front desk was very helpful.
