  Maybe a $50 to 60 $ a night room but for sure not a 129.00 dollar room no way they should b ashamed of them selfs

  Do not stay here, especially if you have a family. This place is false advertisement. The photos on bestwestern.com only show one decent side of the building to trick you, completely hiding a neglected exterior-corridor section in the back where they actually put guests. The covered parking area reeked of urine, and there was garbage overflowing the trash cans. The elevator to the 4th floor was completely broken, forcing my young daughter to carry our luggage up multiple flights of an unmonitored stairwell. The property is full of active loitering, open prostitution right outside the rooms, and people clearly living out of the motel who stand around and stare at you. My daughter was terrified the entire time. The room itself was filthy and a total building code violation. The bathroom ceiling is sagging from water leaks and covered in active black mold. The vents push out a constant smell of raw sewage, and the bathroom door had a broken lock that temporarily trapped my kid inside, the door had large patch holes like someone had to break through the door previously. The room was supposed to be non-smoking, the comforter was covered in cigarette burn holes, and the room reeked so badly of old smoke we had to leave and wash our clothes. We checked out early because it was unsafe and uninhabitable, and because my daughter was terrified. When I contacted corporate, the franchise manager actually lied to them and claimed the elevator worked and that we stayed the whole time, even though my printed receipt proves we fled early on Sunday. Absolute trash property. Avoid at all costs. This location allows prostitution and the rooms are filth. Stick to Hilton or a basic Motel 6, even they maintain their buildings better than this place.

  The young couple who own/run this motel--deserve stars too; They work smartly and each decision they made and make is on target. 2025 was last time here: now June 2026. Inside the rooms--each year--always have been comfortable, clean --fitting all basic needs--without hesitancy. The plumbing and electrical always reliable and safe, too. I am thankful for the law allowing this couple and any lodging to refuse service to anyone who may disrespect the property: including disrespecting plumbing and electrical. I support--that the owners--surprise check unexpectedly every so often on cleaned rooms prior to a new guest: keeps everyone attentive to doing best. 2026: I noticed the owners have updated all door locks and have installed new room signs outside of each door: thus, rooms continue to be secure. There continues to be a functioning reliable elevator. Due to my older physical body and physical weaknesses: I keep new Cloth-Made empty Walmart bags in my car--365 days a year--to help me not make mistakes in my day. My bags: the unexpected, Perfect solution to put things I needed to bring to my Vallejo Surestay room-- for my stay. The cloth bags allowed me to keep my suitcase in my car. ((unable to bring suitcases up even a few steps up or down)). This hotel is really interesting --architecturally--fully reflecting keen 1900s styles, including short flights of steps interwoven throughout the exterior building. My cloth bags unexpectedly--were a perfect solution. I didn''t mind the few minutes it took to transfer my needs to lighter bags I was able to carry. This lodging is a strong secure place---do not allow "the exterior"---to dissuade you. Emptying all exterior garbage cans daily and keeping area free of litter keeps property at all corners--cost-effective and maintained, and is welcoming to guests. Note: I bring the good quality paper coffee cups down to the breakfast room. I rinse in my room aware: the quality of cups---for re-use. The coffee machine is available at 7:30 in morning. But, I think putting one or two additional packets of coffee in each room is best; Very nice pancake maker in breakfast area; much better than ones I have seen at other lodgings. But, how does one use first time? Finally, I figured out: It is easier, easier than one can imagine. How to use? ONE Step only: Press OK strong and firm and wait while it tells you what is doing: Ie: making a pancake or 2! It only looks complicated. One Step only. Last thing:, I support-- for preventative reasons the lobby area is kept locked--- mid evening onward: only window customer service. Strong, reasonable preventative measures are in place at this property. Very comfortable and secure place to stay while in Vallejo. 10 stars to the young couple who daily make decisions reflecting they care 365 days a year.
