  The worst hotel experience ever. It's unacceptable that a lodging service can be racist towards its potential customers. Hello, I'm a young man of Mexican nationality. I arrived at your establishment early Sunday morning because I knew you had rooms available and wanted to rent one, regardless of the cost. You might ask how I knew there were rooms available. Well, on Saturday afternoon I started waiting in line, which was not only long and took me six hours of my life, but I also drove for three and a half hours to get to your hotel. On the way, I called and asked if there were any rooms available. Just having an accent is enough to make you feel discriminated against, which is annoying, but to have the price of the room emphasized as if it were a big deal is unbearable (YES, MEXICANS CAN PAY IT TOO). But that's not the point. When we arrived, the young man who attended to us, the same one from the phone call—a young man with dreadlocks, I don't know his name, but he has dreadlocks—treated us terribly from the moment we arrived. He seemed lazy and unwilling to help, and he refused to accept us. Neither my cards nor my cash nor any other card would be accepted. They refused to give us any explanations. It was truly humiliating because it was so late and I was already exhausted. Thank God there was another hotel nearby with availability, and we were able to check in without any problems.

  Great location. Not sure if this particular property had renovations done recently, but everything is clean, modern, and professional-looking. Props to the person working at the front desk who had a line of guests but kept a friendly and professional demeanor throughout. If I'm up this way again for work, I would absolutely stay here.

  Rooms are extremely boring , and our windows face another building walls... so, suckers we are. However, Waldo at the front is very nice, and helpful.

  We had a good stay at Holiday Inn Express Valencia overall. Juli at check-in was especially friendly, welcoming, and made us feel appreciated right from the start, which always makes a difference. The hotel felt clean and modern, and breakfast worked well for us as vegans. We appreciated having simple options like oatmeal and fresh fruit, which made it easy to put together a decent start to the day. The main downside is the noise. The hotel is right next to the highway, and it can be very loud, so that is definitely something to be aware of if you are a light sleeper. Overall, this is a solid property with kind staff, clean accommodations, and a decent breakfast, but the highway noise kept it from being a higher-rated stay. I love all you people.
