  Wouldn’t stay here again. The only redeeming quality was the friendly staff who were exceptionally kind and helpful. A bit more research could have helped me so here’s some information: no spa, pool completely shaded by 3pm, beach was littered with trash and no lounging accommodations, good food options limited on a Monday, the handmade pizza from the SugarPalm was greasy and no flavor or spices in the marinara, no non-coffee latte options at the cafe in the morning.

  The Viceroy is a great hotel in a great location. Contemporary, with a cool and relaxed vibe, nice pool area, and great rooms. And a great bar. It's super close to the beach, and close to the rest of Santa Monica to the north, and Venice to the south. I love staying here.

  Stayed here for a work trip and everything was top notch, from check-in to the quality of food and drinks at their on-site restaurant. Amazing location as well. Close to the beach and plenty of restaurants nearby to pick from. It does seem to attract families (hence occassional crying babies/loud kids) as well as business travelers. Not the quietest hotel but slap on some white noise and you'll sleep very well in the comfortable bed.

  Hotel proche de la plage, style art déco californien, bon service mais chambre assez petite (pour les US) et vue Ocean partielle (pour une chambre supérieure avec pleine vue initialement)... bref on doit pouvoir trouver meilleur rapport qualité prix dans les environs.

  We stayed at the Viceroy Santa Monica for a couple of nights. The staff are most welcoming and helpful. We chose one of their top-end suites. It was spacious and airy. The gorgeous views from the room were of the ocean. It had large sliding windows so.you could allow the ocean breeze flow through. The Viceroy is perfectly located walking distance to the ocean and the Santa Monica Pier. It has one restaurant that serves a limited menu. The food was good. However, for the price of their top-end suites we expected a more upscale dinning option.
