- KHK HamJul 17, 20263.0I’ve stayed in many of the hotels in the surrounding area for many years now. This was my first time at this Holiday Inn express. The front desk staff was very helpful allowing me to store my refrigerated items before checking time. The cleanliness was Questionable. Once we got into our room in the evening the bathroom smelled mildewy and a bit of urine. The shower and floor had someone’s hair (not ours). I let the front desk staff know the next day as we were tired. The front desk person had housekeeping clean the bathroom and change the shower curtain. The bathroom smelled a bit better once the shower curtain was changed. The breakfast is standard to holiday express. They have a washer and dryer to use for free! (they sell Tide pods for $1 each , you can bring detergent or see if someone has extra). As a basic standard, all hotels should be clean and have helpful staff. I unfortunately saw this hotel was lacking cleanliness at first. For $200/night, I would expect better. Unfortunately for the area, they charge a lot and skimp on basic standards. The front desk staff were nice. I hope they make sure their housekeeping does their job properly.

Trying to find a hotel last minute and dealing with all of the hectic-ness of it all, Mike spent 20 minutes on the phone with me helping me through the process trying to get my dad a hotel the last minute when Airbnb plans fell through! Thank you so much Mike I would’ve never had our family stay at this hotel if it wasn’t for you! Thank you for taking the time and being so patient with us
