  We used to stay at this location so many times for get away leasure. Everything was fine in the past and we liked it. This time, we booked with super.com with 2 queen beds in non smoking room and print out it with us. We checked in on 9/12/26 around 8:00 pm. On duty receptionist was a young indian girl. When we arrived, she was not friendly and told us that we were already assigned with 1 queen bed room that was the only one available. We showed her the reservation print out and she refused and told us to call super.com. Due to late night, it was unable to reach out to Super. We checked in and when we got there Room 109, it was stink with cigarettes smell on pillows and bed sheets. I tried to look for room phone and none was there. So, I went to the front desk and told her to give me new one. She gave me a sheet and pillow case. I removed existing stink cover and replaced with what she gave. But the sheet was damp. So, I went back to ask her to give me another one due to being damp. She asked me what damp meaning, probably she just moved in to US. She said all were like that, I felt bullied me intentionally. As we couldn't sleep in the room, we left around midnight and stayed at our friend's house. On 9/13/26, we called Super.com and agent told us to check out not to keep another night. We went to the inn and gave back key cards and asked for check out receipt. She printed out but check out date was 9/14/26 which was the next day date. We asked her to change the actual date we checked out and we were not responsible for anything during out check out time 9/13/26 where as her check out date was next day. Also the receipt did not show 1 queen bedroom. She asked us to leave property. We asked her to update check out receipt with real date check out date of 9/13/26. She called police and they showed up. We explained them the situation and police told us to go for Civil case and gave us the case number with officers name information. We wanted to contact the owner what is going on with their employee's customer service to their guests with bad behavior. Because we want to see this business growth. I believe that she is treating other customers and the business will have bad reputation. It was only about $300 but we felt intentionally bullied us by this young indian girl. Now we feel that Best Western University Santa Clara Inn is not same as before with nice customer service by their employees. I do not recommend you to stay here to not get the same experience as me with no room amenities they advertise even without room phone to call. It there is zero star, i would give it zero. This employee should be removed from the business.

  We've stayed here multiple times, but not anymore. It's the cheapest place in town, the rooms are pretty good and clean, breakfast isn't bad, but there is always something not right. People yelling outside late at night or early in the morning. On the street outside our window people live in RVs. This time, our sink drained extremely slowly to the point where it didn't really work. The tub pooled water, too, but could be used. A drawer in our end table would not shut; it just drifted completely open and stayed there. The TV only worked with Netflix; the broadcast channels wouldn't display. We didn't discover these things till it was late and we were settled, so we just went to bed. In the morning, we informed the front desk about the issues, and they apologized, but would not give us a discount. We'll pay more elsewhere next time.

  Nettes Hotel, leider bisschen vernachlässigt und on Renovierungsstau geraten. Die Zimmer war groß genug leider mit Waschbecken in Zimmer da der Dusche und Toilette, sehr klein war. War 5 Tage im Hotel und das Frühstück war immer gleich, wenig Obst und gar keine Gemüse. Personal nur an der Rezeption spricht englisch, ansonsten muss man Spanish können um weiter zu kommen. Die sind nett aber schwierig wenn man was braucht und die kein einziges Wort englisch verstehen. Zimmern werden täglich gereinigt mit frischen Handtüchern. Nach dem Reinigung, war der Pool ok, ohne Privatsphäre aber ok. Standort ist gut , Parkplätze genügend vorhanden. Fazit: Für eins bis zwei Tage ist das Hotel ok. In Deutschland wäre das drei Sterne Hotel
