  My husband had a heart attack and needed to postpone my arrival one day before I could leave him. Because I was outside the refundable period by hours, they would not refund me. Arrived by myself late at night due to flight delays. The entrance to room 257 and 259 was completely dark as their light was out. Reported it the next morning to the front desk, and they said they would take care of it immediately. Came back next night late after a wedding, and still pitch black. At 3 am, the smoke detector started chirping because of low battery. Could not open to stop chirping. Wanted to set it outside but didn’t want to wake others. This California establishment is all about making a buck and no customer appreciation.

  The hotel itself would easily be a 5/5. Unfortunately, we barely slept because of the guests in the room above us. You can hear absolutely everything through the ceiling – every step and movement. Of course, the hotel can’t control how people behave in their rooms, but with such poor sound insulation, I think they could be more thoughtful about how guests are assigned to rooms, especially when the hotel isn’t completely full. The water in the shower don’t flow away and I need to repair the toilet flush on my own. It’s a shame because otherwise we really enjoyed the hotel. Without the noise and bathroom issues, this would have been an easy 5/5.

  It can be hard to find affordable accommodations in Santa Barbara. This motel was old school in all the best ways. It’s an older property, but it is extremely well maintained. There is a nice pool and restaurant on site. The rooms were comfortable, pretty modern, and well appointed. I liked the quiet neighborhood where it was located. We would stay here again

  Hay que tener en cuenta que esta en el downtown y no en la playa, en una zona tranquila, donde parece que abundan los pequeños hospitales y consultas medicas. El hotel estaba reformado, lo unico que veo que es negativo es que tienen los aparatos de aire de tubo al exterior, y para las dimensiones de las habitaciones no da suficiente frio. Parking OK, piscina pequeña y el OAK tree Bar aunque no tuve oportunidad de probarlo, tenia precios algo caros. Si vas de ruta parar en Santa Barbara tiene sentido, maximo una noche porque es pequeños y no tiene tanto para ver

  Very nice hotel! I often stay here to visit my family nearby, and every time it impresses me. The staff are all friendly and welcoming, especially the front staff are always very helpful and flexible. Eric was particularly nice and he accommodated our needs every time we asked. I stayed in different rooms, and each time I was satisfied by the cleanliness and amenities. The swimming pool is wonderful for small children, and the hot tab is very cozy. The breakfast is not included, but the attached restaurant serves delicious meals! I really like this hotel.
