  Great location. Parking is included. Breakfast options are good and thank you for having 🥚 omelette separate from meat. If you are Muslim, it’s a huge plus as Masjid is next door. Bathroom could use exhaust fan.

I'm staying at holiday inn express in Santa Ana orange county, it's 1: 44 am and there are people talking into speakers through the floor yelling rude remarks and harassing me. They are also doing something to the water in the building maybe a filter or additive to make the water smell or make your skin darker. The yelling into speakers through the floor from the 1st floor to the second is horrendous

  Shout out to the staff here for how friendly and accommodating they are. I stayed here during a work trip and had to bring my daughter with me. Trinity was able to accommodate the room change without issue and really made me even as a budget guest feel valued. The included breakfast was great. The included movie stations on the TV were great. The close proximity to Disneyland was perfect too. I would recommend to anyone visiting the area. When I come back for training, I will be staying here.

  I checked in today for a two night stay. First impression was very good. I requested early checkin, but you never know. I rolled in at 1pm and the lady at the front desk was very nice. My room was ready and checkin was quick and easy. I also was given two water bottles since im a member. The room is spacious with a mini fridge and microwave. The A/C works well. The balconies are just for show,the doors are locked tight. There was coffee maker in the room. I texted the front desk using the app. There was a knock at the door, but a housekeeper had the wrong room. I asked her about the coffee and within 5 minutes she brought up a Keurig and a box with the coffee, cups, etc in it. I soon got a text about it and also let me know There is coffee available in the lobby. So far I'm impressed with the room and service. And as other reviews have noted, yu can hear the train horns. Not sure how far away the tracks are from the hotel, but you will hear them. The free breakfast is very good. I didnt try the pancake machine, but the cinnamon rolls are tasty. Instead of scrambled eggs they had cheese omelets.

  First off let me caption this by saying I am a Diamond Level member so I have stayed in my fair share of Holiday Inn’s over the past few dozen years so this isn’t some fly by night post. We booked this based on the reviews and the pictures provided by the hotel and let me tell you they are wrong so be aware when you book here. This hotel is in the slums of Santa Ana, there were more homeless people on the street, and in the building next to the hotel, including the one who was apparently a diamond member staying (car in picture is his car) which just is disgusting. They had 24 hr security but they were often on their phone, not patrolling the parking lot or hotel. Including the night that they allowed someone to have extremely loud music playing outside of the rooms of guests between 10pm and 11:30pm waking guests up. When I complained to the front desk after being woke up the reception lady asked if I wanted ear plugs..ITS 11:30 at NIGHT…NO I DON”T WANT EAR PLUGS, I want a quite nights sleep. I did not feel safe parking my car at any point let alone the option to walk to the zoo just a few hundred feet away, or any attractions, it was just unsafe to even drive around in the area due to the amount of homeless in and around this hotel. The banquet hall which shares the parking lot with the hotel allows the hotel spaces to be taken and you have to park in the dark area behind the hotel. The rooms were dirty, not cleaned at all. There were finger prints of children throughout the room, stains on the sheets and we even asked for more of them. The bathroom showers wouldn’t stay closed, and the AC had a whistling sound all day and night long. We did address this with the staff multiple times and nothing was done. At breakfast and after the did not clean the tables up, they left food there either for the guests to clean or another shift of service to do so. We were there for a sporting event and the fact that it was dirty, noisy and just plain uncomfortable was just sad. If I could have canceled the rest of the days and went somewhere else we would have. I used points and cash for this stay. Just be aware when staying there honestly its not good. I do think that Motel 8 or 6 would have been better.
