  I typically avoid leaving hotel reviews, but this location deserves one star. We booked two rooms and arrived around 2:30 PM expecting check-in at 3 PM. By 3:30 PM, the front desk staff still could not provide any timeline for when both rooms would be ready. What made the experience worse was the attitude of the staff, who came across as rude and dismissive instead of apologetic or helpful. If a hotel advertises a 3 PM check-in, guests should reasonably expect rooms to be available around that time, or at minimum receive a sincere apology and proper communication about delays. The situation became so frustrating that we ended up finding another hotel instead.

  I told the receptionist I wasn’t not going to be able to stay there. I did not have my physical debit card caught an uber straight from LAX. Did not have the right amount of cash on me to cover my stay. I ended up telling the receptionist I will find somewhere else and won’t be staying there. They did not cancel my reservations and I was still charged. I would have cancelled my reservation myself but I told the receptionist. I was still charged the next morning. When I called to speak to someone about the charges they never followed up with me. The receptionist that answered the phone told me she will speak to her manager and call me back.never recieved a call back. Poor customer service.

  I have stayed thousands of nights in hotels — hands down worst service I have come across in hospitality. The gentleman that was working the front desk was aggressive, angry, and genuinely scary. There was a huge language barrier, he struggled to speak English, and very quickly jumped to yelling at a sweet young girl because he wasn’t understanding her. Would not consider a safe or comfortable place to stay by any means.

  The hotel is outdated and makes a poor impression as soon as you enter the lobby. The photos appear to be enhanced to make the hotel and rooms look better than they are. We cancelled our reservation and paid for the first night but left the hotel without sleeping there. The room smelled old and looked old. But the room didn't look dirty, just dingy and old. We then read through reviews and there were some complaints about cockroaches in the rooms. At that point we decided to leave and find another hotel for the night. This is our 2nd bad experience with Best Western having old run down rooms and it will be our last time booking any Best Western hotel.
