  The hotel itself is ok, good location and amenities. But I did have some issue when checking in. At first the attitude seems off and then they got a manager to talk to me, leading with asking whether I was staying with them before. So I had to try to remember of all my trips, while telling them that I'm not sure, maybe a different Holiday Inn location or something, while trying to figure out what was going on. Then they start to imply I did bad things in the past while staying there with them. I was flabbergasted until I realized they must have gotten the wrong person, probably with the same name. I tried to explain, but already felt very unwelcomed. They ended up honor the booking, which I appreciate, but I couldn't shake the feeling that they treated me like a criminal of some sort and I had to defend myself, completely caught off-guard.

  They are scamming the people who booked with bookings.com Because they want to increase the prices. Not recommend it .

  Well it's come to this, my 1st less than good review. Please note this is not to bash anyone, nor do I have some high standards. But I didn't quite expect this,before I write this. Please note: I didn't make a formal complaint, thats just not my style. REVIEW PORTION: (Not so goods) 1. Online stated breakfast, it's a 22.00 usd buffet option daily. *Not a free continental ** 2. Upon check in, I then was asked if I had a car. Followed by then being told it is 18.00USD to use their parking lot.....Where I am staying for the week?????? *not stated on web** 3. Astetics: This is in need of an overhaul, in a wierd way it's quaint. What I mean is it's like an time capsule from the past. Which made for some cool photography. However once that wears, you now in the backrooms! Yellows and greens across the board, ceilings are extremely low creating a closed in feeling. 4. ROOM CONDITION: Sub par, this is not a basis claim but the reality. Tears in the sheet. (See photo's) Deep Stains in corner couch (See photo's) Unknown brown dried substance on office chair (See photo's) FINAL OPINION: Staff was professional and had great customer service Resturant food was excellent This was a business trip, so this makes it easier. (Not my money) However had this been a vacation or my own money. I would have been very disappointed.

  Comfortable stay, but a few issues worth mentioning The beds were very comfortable, and I appreciated that the bathroom came stocked with both hand soap and body wash (Dove), so there was no need to bring or buy my own. That said, a few things fell short. When I first walked in, the room looked clean, but I found a used tissue tucked on the back shelf in the bathroom a small thing, but it shouldn't have been missed. The mini fridge was also a problem: it leaked a lot of water and over-iced, which ended up freezing items like milk and food. On the plus side, staff were responsive and helpful when I brought up small issues during my stay. One thing to be aware of if you're a light sleeper: the walls are quite thin, so you can hear activity in the hallway and neighboring rooms at night. Management should also look into the doors they slam loudly, which was disruptive during the nigh & day. Overall, a decent stay with comfortable beds and helpful staff, but some maintenance and quality-control issues that management should address. Overall not a bad hotel

  My preference and choice of stay when I'm in San Jose! Holiday inn San Jose. Had the chance to meet their amazing team. Talk to their maintenance team some witch are veteran + 20 years and the security detail. I found that old Monica I grew up with in stone service service service at every angle. From the bar serving you food to the representative behind the counter assisting with your check in checkouts or inquiries. The service alone made the experience more premium alone in my opinion. When I came home after long long days in the field I found the place relaxing and lively at the same time. So there are no surprises there is a small fee for parking due to limited parking so there are no surprises. If I could think of something to bring this place more value I would say USBC and usb chargers an or desk. PreCheck maintenance list per checkout unit so there is zero issues for new customers to find. I'm glad to have visited San Jose for the first time in my life and get to spend it with this hotel. Though I am a professional full-time rvers over 10 years I will be giving this facility another try when the moment presents itself. For me this hotel beats out the Aspen inn and that's saying something.
