Our ADA Superior Triple Room features two full beds, views of Saints Peter and Paul Church and Washington Square and a private ensuite ADA compliant bathroom. A flat panel television with streaming services (via Apple TV) is also available. ADA features: * Toilet with grab bars and a minimum clearance of 60” from the wall adjacent to the toilet to any obstruction and 48” in front of the toilet. * Sink with a minimum width of the knee and toe clearance of 30”. My husband & I stayed at WSI for 5 nights. We were looking for somewhere to stay that was in a good area, safe, clean and affordable. WSI was in a great location, walking distance to fisherman’s warf, Chinatown, coit tower etc. Our room was small, but we only needed a place to sleep and keep our things and the room did just that. I was contacted about 4 days before check in via text. I downloaded “OpenKey” app ahead of time and they text me with instructions for the key info. Everything went smoothly, we arrived at WSI at 12:30am and no problems getting in. The hotel door keypad code was emailed and the room key is on the open key app. I had lots of anxiety about arriving in the middle of the night and the key not working but I had my info ready at 3pm (SF time) via text from the hotel. They even replied promptly when I text them back. The hotel could invest in a cordless vacuum (shark/dyson) for the very nice cleaning person(s) to do the floors and under the bed as I had to plug something in to an extension cord under the bed and it was quite dusty and off putting. Otherwise, everything was smooth. Overall, It’s a good area, it’s loud (you’re in a city..) but if you’re here for a short trip it’s perfect. If you’re able to understand instructions then staying at this “contactless” hotel is easy and safe. I would stay here again.

DO NOT STAY HERE. This is not a “boutique hotel.” First impression was we were greeted by a locked door and then we prayed someone was in the lobby to let us in. We shortly realized there was no active staff or security at all on the premise whatsoever. Unsure why or what the reasoning behind this is. I also immedietly noticed a rather Punjent and musty smell, something reminiscent of elderly people or mothballs. This smell lingered on everything especially the linens and towels. To arrive after an exhausting travel day to this was super disheartening. We didn’t know what to do with our bags because we arrived before our check in time. When I finally got a guy on the phone he told us to shove our stuff in the old dusty janitors closet basically. We had no other choice so that’s what we did…. Later spotted visible mold on the bathroom and shower walls. No hospitality, no customer service, NO STAFF?? This place is doing some serious false advertising and it’s a miracle the place hasn’t been broken into robbed or worse. Avoid at all costs!!!

The location of this hotel is amazing. We could walk to the piers, Chinatown, and were right near some amazing Italian restaurants. The room was fine, and had everything we needed. But the digital key app did not work for us, even though I filled out all the online forms well in advance. They send a lot of emails with very clear instructions, which I followed exactly, so I'm not sure what went wrong. Since there's no staff, we did have some trouble accessing our room which was hard as we had been driving for a long time and were eager to rest and use the restroom. There were piles of bagged garbage in the front entry, and someone was sitting or sleeping in front of the door at times, and not always willing to move.

This is a terrible hotel. Booked through external booker and the transfer to the key app didn't transfer over. Since there is no front desk reception staff, we called a number, who didn't answer. It took 20 minutes to check in since the error on the app just said, "pending" and was vague. Called again and it was sorted out. Later in the evening, there was a homeless person just smoking from a pipe on the steps of the hotel, again because no front desk reception address this. Room had bleech stains on the carpet, and the bathroom needed more cleaning, found a lot of hairs from the previous person. It's just a place to rest your head and it is barely passable at that. We have tried to call their customer service afterwards and they have never replied to any of our contact attempts.
