I thoroughly enjoyed my 3 night stay at Huntington Hotel. The property has so much to offer. Spacious and recently renovated rooms Seamless, genuine and friendly service Cracking F&B options including Big 4 restaurant and Arabella’s cocktail salon World class spa, pool, sun terrace and gym. A stunning park sits opposite to the hotel resulting in a very quiet and relaxing atmosphere. I did not hear one siren 🚨 during my stay ! The Huntington sets the benchmark for a 5 star hotel experience in SFO.

High end update - service is spectacular. Everyone we spoke to or interacted with were top notch. The rooms are stately and have all the touches you’d expect. A few hiccups that you should factor in (and keeps me from a 5 star): 1) the pool and spa requires a $100/person day pass or $300+ spa reservation. This was not clear on booking. 2) the free breakfast cannot be used at big 4 on the weekends since jazz brunch starts at 9 am. 3) house car and other amenities were non existent. There was no welcome beverage (sparkling water) and tea and biscuits was just a little chocolate candy. I had to seek out all these details - so not really sure what the amenity fee covered once you strip all these features out. Standout was drinks at Arrabellas and Big 4 dinner which were highly sought after by locals.

An Unforgettable San Francisco Gem! The Huntington Hotel delivers a classic, quintessential San Francisco experience from start to finish. From the moment you step through the doors, you’re greeted by an ambiance that perfectly balances timeless elegance with warm, relaxed sophistication. Every member of the staff was exceptionally kind, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, making us feel right at home. The amenities were top-tier and made our stay completely seamless. A major highlight of our stay was dining at The Big Four Restaurant. It is an absolute standout. The food quality was outstanding, and the crafted drinks matched it standard for standard. A special shoutout to our server, Blue—an absolute pro! Blue provided fantastic, intuitive service that truly elevated our entire dining experience. We finished our evening lingering at the hotel’s cocktail lounge, and it couldn't have been a better end to the night. The vibe was spot-on, and the cocktails were top-notch. Whether you’re visiting SF or planning a local getaway, the Huntington Hotel and The Big Four are a absolute must. We can't wait to return!

I want to do a favor to anyone considering a 13-hour flight to get here, spending a significant amount of money, only to arrive and discover that the services you would naturally expect from a luxury hotel are simply not available to you. Charging luxury prices while restricting access to basic hotel facilities such as the swimming pool—unless guests pay even more for spa treatments—is unacceptable. If you are traveling this far and spending this kind of money, my advice is simple: Choose another hotel.

This grand dame of Nob Hill is bringing back elegance and service to San Francisco! The reopening of The Huntington has been highly anticipated by locals and former residents like me. I felt like I was being welcomed home to the Bay Area that I remembered from decades past. Proper tribute has been paid to the history of the building and surrounding area with modern touches expected of the technology forward destination. The rooms and suites are generously proportioned, so you do not feel boxed in, and the views from the top of Nob Hill frame iconic landmarks of San Francisco. Make sure to dine in Big Four, and yes, the chicken pot pie is still fantastic, but the Cioppino with a side of sourdough tastes like home! The new Arabella's cocktail bar is an experience where Alexei crafts stories as well as cocktails. Finally, the Spa with the pool overlooking the city is a must! Our treatments were so soothing, so we were happy to relax afterwards poolside or in the sanctuary for the rest of the afternoon. But the heart of the hotel is the team! Every single person we came into contact with was eager to assist and genuinely interested in how our stay was going. We felt cared for and recognized throughout our entire stay, and we will definitely be back!
