What a Very Nice place. The location is convenient right in the fishmans Wharf neighborhood (2 Blocks away). And walking distance from Pier #39. We were right there, but also far enough to have peace and quiet once we get back to the hotel. Inside the lobby is nicely decorated comfortable seating around the fireplace. A computer work station the seats 6 people comfortablely. The staff is friendly and very helpful. Offering discount tkts to restaurants and various entertainment venues in the area. Everything about our room was good except we had no view...[a brick wall] since we face an alley way between the structures. But it really didn't bother us because honestly we didn't spend much time there other than sleeping. Pescatore Restaurant located off the main lobby is a wonderful place to either start your day with breakfast or end it with an exquisite meal. We loved it. Definitely go enjoy your time in San Francisco at Hotel Zoe.

My stay at this hotel was enjoyable until checkout, which unfortunately left a very negative impression. At check-in, we were informed that our stay included a $100 hotel credit that could be used at the restaurant and for snacks throughout our 3-night stay. I even double confirmed this with the front desk before using it. However, at checkout, we were suddenly told we were not eligible because the credit only applied to bookings made through the Chase portal, while we had booked through Booking.com. This was never communicated to us at check-in. On top of that, when I requested an itemized receipt, there were around $55 in additional restaurant charges for items we never even consumed. Once I pointed this out, the staff simply responded that they would “take care of it,” which was concerning and made me question the accuracy of the billing overall. What disappointed me most was the unprofessional handling of the situation. The staff member assisting us at checkout, I believe his name was James, was rude and dismissive, and instead of acknowledging the misinformation given at check-in, he blamed us by saying we “should’ve known what we booked.” It’s unfortunate because the stay itself was pleasant, but the inaccurate charges, poor communication, and lack of accountability completely overshadowed the experience.

Really disappointing stay overall. We booked several months in advance and left a polite note explaining it was my wife’s birthday, requesting one of the nicer rooms within the category we paid for, especially as the photos online showed bright corner rooms with views. Instead, we were placed on the lowest floor facing a courtyard directly overlooking exercise bikes with almost no privacy. We went back to reception immediately after seeing the room and were simply told there was “nothing they could do.” There was apparently no manager available either (5pm). What made it more frustrating was noticing airline crew members occupying the upper-floor rooms during our stay, which made it feel like regular guests were clearly not being prioritised. The way the complaint was handled was equally poor. The only solution initially offered was moving rooms for one night after we had already unpacked and settled in. After pushing for some form of resolution, the only compensation provided was removal of the small service fee. The location was good and the bed was comfortable, but the customer service and overall experience fell well below expectations for the price paid.

3 star at best. I have no idea how a property in SF gets away with charging $20 for 20MBit internet. There is no bar, restaurant was closed on the day I checked in. The air conditioning units are loud as is the plumbing and the sheets came out of a motel 6. How this was part of Chase the edit I’ll never know…
