It's not a five star motel and you get what you pay for. For two days without major expectations this is fine. No room service no mini fridge but eating out is more preferable in sf anyways

I really enjoy the location of the Edwardian even though it’s somewhat antique it is a fine boutique hotel. It has all the important Basic amenities. The rooms are clean. The staff is wonderful. You can get to any place in the city by foot basically and lots of art and music around as well as restaurants.
I walk to the Jazz Center, hospital, park, museums and the farmers market all easily. No refrigerators in the room but private bath and wonderfully quiet considering it’s right on market Street.

I recently stayed at the Edwardian Hotel in San Francisco, and I have to say, it was a fantastic experience for the price. It was incredibly affordable, especially for a city like San Francisco, and the size of the room was just perfect for two people. Having an onsite bathroom was a huge plus—it’s always nice to have that privacy and convenience without having to share.
I knew going in that there was no Air Conditioning, but honestly, it wasn't an issue at all. We just opened the windows, and the fresh air that came in was lovely. It actually made the room feel very authentic and cozy, and I really loved that connection to the outside.
If I were to offer a couple of tiny suggestions for improvement, they would be minor. I think higher curtains would help block out a bit more sunlight in the mornings. Also, adding a long mirror to the closet door would be a game-changer so I wouldn't have to pop downstairs to use the lobby mirror to check my outfit. However, I’m definitely not going to ding the hotel for those things—they’re just small tweaks I would suggest.
Overall, I had a great stay and would definitely book this hotel again.

Got a weeks stay for $1039 for Game Developers Conference. The door needs you to be buzzed in by the staff which I didn't expect and it's a 10 minute
walk away from the civic center/un plaza Bart station. They had some technical difficulties with the heating during my stay and offered extra blankets.
The elevator is a little old which was cool never seen one like it outside of movies before. My room was right next to the elevator which was nice at first but it also meant I heard whenever someone was getting in or off of it. The staff is very helpful and searched for feedback. The hot water capacity was good enough for my hour log showers.
