  I so wanted to rate this place higher. The hotel is adorable and location is wonderful. BUT, you can hear everything. I mean everything. And when the room above you is found lord knows what until 4am, hard to get a good night sleep. Could also hear the person in the room next to us snoring.

  The room was clean and conveniently located to lobby, but the noise from the bar was so loud it was difficult to sleep if you are an early riser. We ate breakfast at the hotel. The server needs some training. She overworked herself due to inefficiency at managing tables of guests that made guests wait too long. The server also appeared stressed and wasn't friendly with guests, though wasn't rude either. The location is excellent, but parking g lot is small.

  Stayed here to goto a concert next door. The staff here is so friendly, and helpful. The cocktails are on point, the menu may seem simple but OMG it is sooo good. Recommend the Ahi, and shrimp scampi (will come back and try the rest of the selection). Room service was prompt and did not disappoint. LOVED the eggs Benedict as well as the Cali Benedict. Go here to experience casual San Diego. Views are gorgeous.

  Stayed here for one night with my wife to see Cheap Trick at Humphrey's, which is literally right next door, and honestly the location alone makes it worth it. The room was clean, the King Suite facing the marina was genuinely peaceful, and the food and drinks at the bar were solid. Service all around was fine, no complaints. Here's the insider tip though: get the meal and concert package when you book. On show nights the restaurant is reserved for package holders only, so if you skip it you might be scrambling for dinner before the show. Learn from us. Otherwise this place is a easy recommendation, especially for a concert night getaway.

  My wife and I stayed here for 6 nights. We’d chosen a room with a view over the marina and that was definitely a great choice. As we had one of the rooms where the hotel extends out, we had two balconies which offered us a stunning all around view of the marina. The room itself was large with a comfortable king sized bed and a separate seating area and round dining table. The room was clean and quiet, even with the bar area directly below. There was plenty of parking available either in front of the hotel or in the underground parking area. The bar and restaurant staff were friendly and efficient and the prices were also very good for the area. The location is fantastic as it’s quiet (with the exception of aircraft from the airport and naval base) but still easy to get to the rest of San Diego with downtown or the Old Town only a 15-20 minute drive away.
