  We stayed here for the Fourth of July and had an amazing experience! The location truly can’t be beat. It’s in the heart of Pacific Beach and within easy walking distance to the beach, restaurants, bars, coffee shops, and shopping. We never had to use our car the entire stay. The front desk staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived. We chose to pay for on-site parking, and I highly recommend it. Parking in Pacific Beach can be challenging, so having a guaranteed parking spot made our trip completely stress-free. We originally booked a partial ocean view room, but to our surprise, the front desk upgraded us to a full oceanfront room at no charge! They explained that they randomly select a few guests each day for complimentary perks such as room upgrades, free parking, or late checkout. We felt so lucky and truly appreciated the thoughtful gesture. The rooms have been beautifully renovated and are modern, clean, and very comfortable. The air conditioning worked great, the refrigerator was convenient, and everything felt fresh and well maintained. It’s the perfect boutique beach hotel with an upscale feel while still being relaxed and comfortable. Overall, this hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. Between the outstanding customer service, unbeatable location, beautiful renovated rooms, and unexpected upgrade, this was one of our favorite hotel stays in San Diego. We will absolutely be back!

  Pros: It’s super close to the beach. It’s super close to the pier. It’s super close to bars and nightlife. A/C works good. Beach toys available in the lobby. Lobby staff were friendly. Cons: Looks like the hotel was recently renovated but using cheap materials. Floor was separating and warping. Walls were paper thin. We could hear people talking, walking, snoring in the adjacent rooms all night. Got about 3 hours of sleep each night. Pillows were flat. Only 4 parking spaces for the entire hotel, else you have to drive around the neighborhood hunting for a spot.

  I absolutely loved my room!! You are right on the beach- like open the door and see the Pacific!! See pic!! My room smelt amazing and was spotless! And they let me borrow a beach chair and umbrella and the stairs to the beach where just steps away!! I will be back!!

  The staff was great. It’s not a full-blown five star hotel. But it is a five star location. The room had everything that me and my wife needed; shower and a bed. Due to its location, everything is in walking distance; shops, dining, breakfast, coffee, bars and clubs. Personally, I like to surf La Jolla a 10 minute drive from the hotel and surf right out front, beach break. The water is clean and the atmosphere cool. perfect getaway for my wife and I. Downtown San Diego was 15 minutes away on side streets ,Seaworld about the same, Mission Bay is about the same. A lot of entertainment for the price. To all the staff and management, I will see you again.

  The location was perfect, I enjoyed the sounds of waves at night, I had a partial view to the ocean, which was worth it ! Location is walking distance to most restaurants, bars and coffee shops. I would definitely stay here again ! I gave the room a 3 star because the sink caulking had dark spots, possibly mold or mildew. Parking alert!! Upon arrival to the hotel there wasn't any parking. They said you can reserve a parking spot, which I didn’t know (they only have like 5 spaces). I was placed on the waiting list, which I never got a call back. Therefore, you gotta look for parking out in the street and most parking are only two hr parking. From 6pm -8am you don’t have to worry about moving your vehicle every two hrs.
