  On SDSU graduation weekend they planned to work on the water lines. We have NO WATER in our room. No shower, no sink, no flushing toilet. Staff was dishonest multiple times telling us that the water would not be shut off - only that we wouldn’t have hot water. But yet here we are after a long day and can’t even wash our hands.

  Absolutely negative experience here. Arrived after a long trip expecting at least basic hotel standards from the property. Instead, the room I received had a very strong cigarette smoke smell mixed with heavy chemicals apparently used to hide it. The air felt stale and unpleasant immediately upon entering, room was worn out, and linen smelled bad. Went back to the front desk and they proposed another room. “Another room”- worn out, bad air quality, unpleasant odor, and broken ac. It became obvious that staying there was not realistic. Instead of properly resolving the situation, the staff acted very rude, refused to discuss cancelation or refund. It seems like they do not care at all, and acting very shady. Had to leave this place late at night and urgently search for another place to stay. Complete ignorance, lack of accountability and customer care afterward. Very disappointing experience.

  “This hotel greatly exceeded my expectations. The staff at the front desk were exceptionally friendly, Angela went above and beyond to make us feel at home thank you for that!. The bed was remarkably comfortable. The bathroom was also extremely clean and had a good selection of toiletries.”

  Management is the worse service experience ever had I won’t recommend it even for employees can’t even help themselves this manager cancelled my wife reservation and left us selfs out we kids on the middle of the night on state that we don’t know I would recommend to get better training to this front desk management

  We stayed here several times over the last few years and this last visit was terrible. As repayment for that and being a customer they lied to my bank when I brought up concerns 3 times to the front desk. There was smoking or pesticides in the room. The next room had what appeared to be black grounds or dirt in the bed and hair not just that. An employee cursed when they saw it. Said someone must’ve spilled something. Later they said “guest spilled coffee” I don’t drink coffee I didn’t have a coffee with me. Also the person who checked the room was a man working customer service not the general manager. The previous guest couldn’t have as they weren’t there clearly and if it was the previous guest are you saying room sheets aren’t changed before new guests arrive? Morning after morning there was no yogurt milk or eggs stocked this time. I let it go there’s other food and we were exhausted after traveling. We travel to San Diego several times a year and would’ve made this our go to spot every few months but this lack of customer service and offering $25 of points is very insulting. Guests expect the hotel to stand by the brand. Twice now the pool was also dirty and had wires with a pool light just out of the wall while people swim and broken glass in the pool another time. I tried to resolve this before leaving negativity.
