  We were just there for my nephews marine graduation, and everything was great. The front desk lady was super nice , everything was clean, and the breakfast was great!

  Overall a very nice hotel. The biggest issue is finding it because it's set off the main road. My only other complaint is they have a small parking garage that is very very tight to get in and out of if you have anything larger then a compact car. But the staff is very friendly and they make a great cinnamon rolls with their complimentary breakfast.

  This place is a scam. I had a layover and my airline booked this hotel. I walked in room smelled like smoke and was filthy. No big deal I’m sleeping and catching a flight the next morning. Wake up and my debit card was charged 300$ called and whoever was at the front desk today at 240pm was rude and refused to give me a manager. Absolutely unacceptable. I got off the plane and slept from 7pm until 430am then left. I will make this an issue with corporate

  The overall value was good. The parking was adequate but the spaces are tight for larger vehicles. The free breakfast was pretty good. The variety was appreciated. The rooms are decent. Housekeeping did a good job. The rooms could use some updating. The staff was excellent and provided us solutions for our large family. The pool is small. The location is very central. Overall it was a good value for the week we stayed.

  I was extremely disappointed with our experience at the Holiday Inn San Diego–SeaWorld. I contacted the hotel three days before our arrival to request an early check-in. When we arrived just before noon, the front desk area was being mopped, and there wasn’t even a proper place for us to sit and wait comfortably for our room. We were helped by a very rude front-desk employee. She told us that our room was not ready. I honestly don’t believe she even checked to see whether a room was available. Then, after we explained that we had requested early check-in in advance, she told us that we could get the room ready if we paid an additional $39.99. When we asked to speak with a manager, we were told that the manager was on a conference call. I completely understand that early check-in is not guaranteed. However, the way this was handled was extremely disappointing. If the room genuinely wasn’t available, we would have understood. What we did not appreciate was the rude attitude, the lack of effort to check for another available room, and then being offered early check-in for an additional fee. This was a very poor first impression, and unfortunately, the customer service we received was not what I would expect from a Holiday Inn.
