  Excellent service throughout our stay from August 12–16. Special thanks to the front desk staff for their outstanding attention, and to Maria for the excellent housekeeping service.   I have to stay I was nervous about staying at a "2☆" hotel but I have to say it was a wonderful stay the staff goes above and beyond for its guests! I has mentioned that I wish the coffee machine made hot chocolate and the check in man heard me and handed me packets of some(the machine has hot water? The spa was perfect after a long day of walking around seaworld and the rooms are huge!perfect place for families and i will definitely stay here again the next time I vacation here! Oh and they serve(free) hot breakfast in the morning! 10/10

  Life Saver in San Diego! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐I cannot thank the staff at this San Diego Holiday Inn Express enough. After checking into the Heritage Inn across the street to try and save money, my daughter and I had to leave in the absolute middle of the night due to an awful, unlivable experience.Exhausted and stressed, we walked in here hoping for a miracle. The front desk team was incredibly kind, helpful, and luckily had a clean room available for us right away. Both our room and the lobby were exceptionally spotless and well-maintained. They also provide a great complimentary breakfast in the morning.Our lesson learned was to not cut corners for cost. Trying to save a few dollars at the Heritage Inn initially ended up costing us much more after having to pay for a second hotel and fight for a refund. The prices at this Holiday Inn Express were incredibly reasonable, and I wish we had just booked here from the start. I highly recommend this property to anyone visiting San Diego!

  I always try to stay at Holiday Inn Express locations when I travel. They are pretty much consistent, fairly priced, and usually well kept. The major pros: Housekeeping was probably the best I've seen. They were hard working, on time, friendly, and accommodating. The front desk people were also awesome. The one major con: Hotel parking here is limited and the spaces were extremely tight and small. We always had to get out of the car first before the driver parks. There were always just a few inches between the parked cars. Several parked cars just took up two spaces each night I was there.

  Location is great if your doing sea world. And even the zoo. However its very sketchy neighborhood. Parking is tight and limited. They have security at night. It had a pool and hot tub. Its a very small hotel. They have a breakfast option, its fine. The price is insane for the stay but that seems to be all of san diego. And after one night here me and my two kids woke up with itchy bumps on our legs. My boyfriend and I looked and couldn't find any bed bugs or anything. But we were ready to be out of here. We only really needed a place to stay while we were on vacation. We spent most of our time out exploring. Parking is the worst past 6pm. Would I recommend staying here no I wouldn't. It did get two stars because it was convenient and I have stayed in much worse place.
