  An Exceptional Employee Who Truly Cares I rarely write reviews like this, but I need to recognize Mark for an extraordinary level of kindness and customer service. I am an attorney staying at this hotel because I have an important court filing in San Diego Superior Court tomorrow morning. Dropping off these documents came as a complete surprise, and I had to rush through all my plans and errands today. Late tonight (early morning)I opened my briefcase and discovered, to my horror, that I had accidentally left the entire set of documents I needed to deliver to the court at home in Los Angeles. I panicked. These were important court documents, it was extremely late, and I was hours away from home. I called downstairs and spoke with Mark. What happened next is the reason I’m writing this review. Mark didn’t just tell me that the hotel had a business center and leave me to figure it out. He immediately understood how distressed I was. He calmly told me to come up, showed me where I could print everything, and patiently walked me through the process. He was calm, reassuring, kind, and completely unflustered at a moment when I desperately needed someone to be exactly that. Within a short time, the documents were printed, my problem was solved, and I went from feeling completely overwhelmed to knowing that I could walk into court tomorrow morning with everything I needed. Hotels are often judged by their rooms, amenities, and location. But when something goes wrong, you discover what hospitality actually means. Tonight, for me, hospitality was Mark. He didn’t have to care about my problem as much as he did. He could have simply pointed me toward a printer. Instead, he treated my emergency as though it mattered to him, and that meant more to me than he probably realizes. Mark is an exceptional representative of this hotel, and I sincerely hope management recognizes him for it. I will remember his kindness long after I have forgotten the room number I stayed in. Thank you, Mark. You genuinely saved my night—and probably my court appearance tomorrow morning.

  I would give more stars if that was a option!!! Wanted to say thank you to Art and Mark for being so very friendly and helpful at the front desk! Checking in and out explaining things for visit! We where there for Marine graduation! Hotel is excellent location and can see base across highway! Thanks to Ayad and Nick for all of the shuttle rides! What a bonus to not have to drive, you made this trip easy to get around!!!! Thank you to the gentleman, (sorry I forgot your name ) that made the breakfast ready at 6am each morning! Was a wonderful way to start each day! Clean rooms and property clean! This place is a must to try! I would return if in area again!

  Upon arrival on Wed Aug 5th, shuttle driver Nick was very nice and professional. Front desk staff was very nice and professional as well. She explained the shuttle service, check out times and arranged transportation to and from MCRD San Diego, which the hotel caters to Marine families, this made the stay extra special. Rooms were clean, the views from the patio were beautiful. Breakfast was delicious, a lot of varieties to choose from. Only complaint was front desk staff was kind of rude. My family and I arrived at the front desk for the shuttle to the airport and we were 8 minutes late, and she told us that I would be a 25 minute wait for another shuttle but there were two vans that returned from picking up families from the MCRD. This caused us to almost miss our flight home, thank goodness we're able to order an Uber. Otherwise, the stay was very nice.

  We had such a wonderful experience staying here! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcomed and taken care of. Everyone was incredibly friendly, helpful, and made our stay that much more enjoyable. A special thank you to Art, the desk manager, for being so welcoming and making sure everything went smoothly during our stay. Michael, Vangie, and Yenny were also wonderful and provided amazing customer service. You can really tell the staff cares about their guests. We also want to give a HUGE thank you to Nick, our hotel driver! He was absolutely amazing—friendly, personable, helpful, and made getting around so much easier for us. He really went above and beyond and was definitely one of the highlights of our experience. Overall, we felt very well taken care of and truly appreciated the hospitality from the entire team. Great customer service can completely change a hotel experience, and this staff did exactly that. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it! ❤️

  We had an absolutely wonderful experience at this hotel! We chose it mainly because of its convenient location and close proximity to the airport, but the exceptional service made our stay even better. Jay and Eddie were amazing! They were incredibly professional, friendly, and went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. Our room was clean, comfortable, and ready right at check-in. We even called for extra towels, and they were delivered within about five minutes—talk about great service! The hotel was also able to accommodate transportation for our large group of 13 guests from the airport. Our driver was extremely helpful and went above and beyond by loading all 14 of our suitcases into the van. That kind of service really stood out to us! Check-out was quick and completely hassle-free. The price was very reasonable, especially considering the location and the excellent service we received. We truly enjoyed our stay and would 100% stay here again. A huge thank you to Jay, Eddie, the driver, and the entire staff for making our visit such a great experience. Highly recommend this hotel! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
