  Came here to escape the heat. Just for 2 days but then saw that the heat was gonna be for an additional day went to the front desk. I can't remember her name, but the front desk lady made it their darnness. To extend my stay 41 more day as I requested. And they were able to do it amazing overall experience

  Our room had bed bugs, which were still on our clothes/skin once we got home from our stay here. I've tried reaching out on multiple occasions through email and phone and never heard anything back. Completely unprofessional. Rooms, location, and price was fine. Not worth the headache of their service and cleanliness.

  Clean bedroom, clean living room area, clean bathroom and clean kitchen, complementary laundry came in handy, replacements of towels, toiletries, kitchen supplies and bathroom supplies was awesome. Great place for family of 4-5. Easy to cook in suite and use of outside grills. They provided grill supplies also for brushes. Coming back next time I’m in town if I’m interested in a suite with kitchen. Staff is customer service oriented. Quiet place too.

  We stay at this hotel every summer for vacation. We spent 10 days there. On the 9th day, we had to beg the front desk to pls clean our room. They said it was our fault somehow that no one had come to our room for 9 whole days. Also, the hotel is so cheap that they turn the fridge/freezer to the hottest setting. Which we didn’t realize until the $150 worth of food we got had spoiled. I was beyond upset about that one!! Im sure many ppl have had their food go bad bc of that. Even though I absolutely love the rooms and location at this hotel, I’m seriously considering not staying here ever again. The rooms are huge with huge windows. Gorgeous view. It has a living room and kitchen. It feels like a little apartment. It’s lovely. And the location is close to everything. I truly don’t want to stay anywhere else but I also don’t want to give my business to a place that cares so little for their customers. The employees and manager are pointless. We didn’t ask or expect a darn thing from them other than to clean our room. I would have been happy with them cleaning a few times during our stay and coming by every other day with fresh towels and toiletries. But to have to beg them to clean is just ridiculous.

  If you're looking for a place that's home away from home, this is it. The beds and pillows are so comfy! The bed sheets are so amazing, I want to get a set for home. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and have good amenities. Two things...there is only a jacuzzi, thankfully the beach is not too far. And the bbqs need some serious maintenance. I will definitely be making Candlewood a place to stay in the future.
