  Check in was smooth, pool and jacuzzi were the best part.. the next day we asked for a late check out and she said "oh no" later sent my daughter for a tooth brush and she said mom someone asked for a late check out while I was there and the lady was so nice to them and said of course they could have a late check out but not us? We called her she played the part well. She has no customer service with certain guest! HEARTED LOUD! BLINDS VERY OLD

  The Best Western Yacht Harbor Hotel is a great hotel in a great location. The hotel is an older property and its being maintained and updated. The location is perfect as its within walking distance to many restaurants. The hotel is close to the airport and cruise terminal. Highly recommend staying here when in San Diego

  Avoid this place if possible. The breakfast was a major disappointment. The eggs were easily the worst I’ve ever had—completely horrible taste. While the bacon was actually good, the hash browns and French toast were both served cold and were entirely tasteless. As for the room, it was nothing to write home about. The A/C struggled to keep the space at a comfortable temperature, and the shower pressure was incredibly weak. To make matters worse, you could hear exactly when the people in the room next door were using their shower because of the extremely loud pipes. Overall, a very frustrating stay. Not worth the money.

  We had a lovely stay in our 5th-floor harbor-view room with a balcony. While we were slightly disappointed that the view was partially obstructed by exterior stairs, it didn’t dampen our overall experience. The room featured incredibly comfortable beds and reliable daily housekeeping. The breakfast offered a nice variety of options, though a waffle station would have been a great addition! We also thoroughly enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The staff—especially the room service team—were helpful and friendly, and the free parking was a fantastic bonus. My only real critique was an unpleasant odor from the sink drain. However, the room including the bathroom was kept very clean. We truly enjoyed our visit and look forward to returning!

  Stayed at the hotel for 4 nights, and on the day of checking out, I left my newly purchased jacket on the swivel chair. I checked out at about 10.45am and realised the jacket wasn't with me until about 1-2pm+ and immediately messaged the hotel. Tl/dr: (1) The staff just told me that nothing was reported at their loss/found and I proposed ways for them to call their housekeeping/guest to check but to no avail; (2) wasn't sensitive/emphatatic towards my situation; and (3) advised them to view the cctv and note my feedback. It's my fault for leaving my newly purchased jacket behind but more importantly, whoever cleared the room was being dishonest about it. The fault is mine and mine alone, but more importantly, in the line of hospitality, their staff and manager could had been more prompt and emphatatic towards my situation. Truly disappointing.
