  Top tier breakfast (with a full bar) and lunch at The Forum at Meadowood Napa Valley. The only place to get liquor with breakfast unless you’re staying at a hotel yourself. Open to the public for a devine food selection! If you can afford it, don’t miss their caviar! It’s my favorite!

  ELITE SPA!! From check in to checkout, the staff at Meadowood Spa create an elevated luxury experience. Communication is solid from the day you book, all the way through your exit from the spa. All your needs will be addressed and your mind put at ease. The rooms are luxurious, clean, and smell amazing. The spa snacks and refreshments are extensive and delicious. This is literally the kind of place anyone would be tempted to gate keep but recognition is due! Angel, Erin, and the other staff members earned a repeat guest for life!

  Most of the staff were exceptional, especially at the front desk. I am still unimpressed by the facility. The pool is smaller than comparative resorts and the rooms are a bit outdated also compared to other luxury resorts.

  Hotel with conveniences designed for staff 1. Breakfast room does not open until 730 AM. If you are here for business or just up early from east coast jetlag, don't even think a hot coffee available until then. You can help yourself to "tea and fruits" on their outside balcony; literally just that. 2. Spa closes at 6 PM. If you're arriving late, can forget using these facilities. Facilities and comparable price point hotels around the country have saunas/steam rooms open far later. If you want a massage, last hour-long slot is 4:45 PM (to make you have time to clean up and get out at 5:59 so it can close at 6) 3. Gym requires a sign in on a sheet left at a stairs to the gym, which does not maintain your privacy. How many people do they have wandering by a remote location in the hills of wine country that they need a sign in? If you're on staff, though, 5 stars: can show up later in the morning to work, make sure that spa is closed at 6 pm promptly, and enjoy wine country properly. Surprised this is in Relais & Chateaux guide.
