The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the hotel itself was a good value. One issue with the room, however, was the bathroom ventilation. Although there was a vent installed, it didn’t appear to be functioning, so there was essentially no ventilation after showering.
Unfortunately, the service during our stay did not meet expectations and significantly impacted our overall experience.
We arrived for breakfast around 7:30 a.m., well before the advertised end of breakfast, so we were not arriving at the last minute. Even then, many breakfast items were already empty. There was only one staff member managing the breakfast area, and food was refilled in very small portions despite the hotel being nearly fully booked. Many guests were standing around waiting for food, and we overheard several guests expressing frustration about the lack of food and the wait for refills. I genuinely appreciate the staff member who was working, as it was clear they were doing their best. However, it seemed unreasonable to have only one person responsible for breakfast during such a busy morning.
To make matters worse, breakfast service ended about 30 minutes earlier than the time we were told at check-in. Several guests, including us, arrived expecting breakfast to still be available based on the information we had been given, only to find that it had already ended. Better communication and staffing would have made a significant difference.
Another disappointing experience was when we requested additional towels. We had four people staying in a double room, and we explained that we needed extra towels because some of us wanted towels for our hair and others planned to shower after our morning workout. The older front desk employee questioned why we needed additional towels, stating that there should already be enough in the room. He then made a written note next to our room number indicating that we had received four extra towels. That interaction made us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome, especially over what seemed like a very reasonable request. As a rewards member, I’ve stayed at many hotels and have never had to justify asking for extra towels or felt as though I was being treated with suspicion over a standard guest request.
The rooms themselves met our expectations, but the breakfast experience and customer service left a lasting negative impression. I hope management reviews its breakfast staffing, customer service practices, and room maintenance so future guests have a better experience.

I'm almost 3 months behind in my review!
I came from New York to Sacramento, CA to visit my father there.
I literally JUST found the little card the staff gave me with the names I needed to give a shout-out to, lol, it was inside my cardigan sweater that I probably wore that last day, leaving CA,
I think the room i had was beautiful, it was a double king, the microwave, good, mini fridge, good, my shower and bathroom, very good too!
I read some reviews here and I can't believe what I'm seeing! Several people said the breakfast was "bad" or "not good'. Wow, they must've stayed at a different hotel i guess!
I don't travel much so obviously I'm not a member here, but I would wake up late some days and get there before breakfast closed at 930am. There was STILL food! Good food too! My favorite was the pancake machine 😋 it actually made 2 pancakes 🥞 at a time when you pressed a button to serve you! It was adorable! They were thin like crepes but buttery and fluffy!
Also the egg station was always replenished along with the hashbrowns and breakfast meat section,
So, No, the breakfast was NOT bad! It was around the clock delicious!
Next ,was the service by housekeeping ladies,
I stayed there a whole month so I DO know what I'm talking about,
Maritza, was a lovely lady who came to help me after this idiot busted in my room, that Singh had sent downstairs to.fix my alarm clock, hotel clock had to be fixed by hotel screw driver only, but the guy only knocked ONCE then pushed my door open!! I was half dressed only! I yelled at him then called Singh to tell at him too. He apologized,
The next day I asked this wonderful young lady who always cleans my room, Marisol, if she knows a woman on staff to give new batteries for my room digital clock, she said "yes, it's Maritza" I speak fluent spanish so I was able to navigate my stay better than some idiots here, leaving bad reviews that are clearly false. The staff answers you in fluent spanish when you ask a question in fluent Spanish, simple.
Maritza showed up promptly and KINDLY knocked 2 x, then I said "coming!"
As it SHOULD be!
She was an elegant lady with a screwdriver lol, and then she offered to take my bedsheets too, while she was there!
Marisol was my weekly housekeeping girl, nothing but 5 stars all-around,
At night, I used the 24 hr gym downstairs, excellent machines!
In daytime I sat by the pool and took pictures,
The manager Jenice was amazing! She helped me carry my tray to the elevator, as I use a cane, every single morning that she saw me!
She even helped me pack my last morning bc she knew my knee was bad 🙏
And Angie, the other Mgr, was outstanding with one admirable action that we all congratulated her for!
There was an ANNOYING, DISRUPTIVE, RUDE foreign family, that the parents toted 4 or 5 messy, insolent, badly behaved kids wherever they went in the hotel- in elevator, in pool, and 💯 at breakfast! The kids slammed right into my left knee replacement area!! As I was standing perfectly still holding my tray of full eggs, bacon, pancakes chocolate chip muffin and cranberry juice ( BTW THE JUICE MACHINE DOES WORK! To the other liar of bad review) the first kid slams into me, half knocking it out of my hand, but I caught the tray. The rest of kids slammed one by one like dominoes into me! Thats when I yelled and reprimanded ALL 5 OF THEM, I yelled and lifted up my pants leg to show them my knee surgery scar, and I yelled at how painful this is! The parents got up and asked me calmly whats the problem,
I showed them the problem, pointed my scar. I told them how their sloppy and badly behaved kids slammed into me, running around the people who paid for peace here! The father shrugged and said "kids run, they're gonna run" I yelled, "NOT when everyone here is trying to eat in peace" The father said something in a foreign language, could've been Russian, to the kids, they nodded
Then suddenly, Angie came to the rescue!
She told the parents, 'OK thats it! Everyone STOP running! Go play outside, not here!" I was so happy she stepped in!
This is a great hotel!
