  Not a rocket scientist but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express. I cannot think of a new slogan for Ann Phong but HIE cuts through the chase. It is a room and it was very conveniently located near the place of my business. The room itself could have felt a little more roomy but I guess it’s fine for twin bed setup. I will continue to give IHG my business because they seem to offer what I need, and in today’s case, a great location to boot.

  The hotel is near a trail that I like to walk in the morning. The location is also near a great selection of restaurants.

  The hotel is in a good location, the rooms are clean and tidy, and the service is very friendly. I was missing some utensils, but the staff were very helpful and willing to assist me in resolving the issue. My only complaint concerns the breakfast: there are often no suitable options for vegetarians, while the meat is mostly pork. Overall, the breakfast is rather modest. Also, one evening I had an issue with a guest in the room next to mine who was talking loudly on the phone around midnight. Unfortunately, I was unable to get him to lower his voice, which somewhat affected the quality of my rest.

  Me and my girl came here to spend her birthday weekend in roseville/sac area. A bunch of activities we did, the employees didnt seem too greatful to have us there. Matt was the opposite, very kind and happy to have us at his hotel, nicest person we talked to all day, super thankful for matt. Room was fantastic, clean, spacious and as a tall person the tall ceiling is nice. Breakfast was good and has lots of good options to choose from. Will be staying here everytime we come down for a weekend. We highly recommend!

  THIS PLACE DOESN'T EVEN DESERVE 1 STAR! I had problems right from the beginning. First, it was the ants. Crawling on the window sill and in the shower. Second, it was the noise coming from just outside of the entrance at 12am, 1am, 2am, people talking way to loud and poor management not managing the quiet hours. Third it was the noise coming from the 3rd floor right above me. Construction was taking place and even though the sign said 8am - 5pm, I heard loud noises before 8am and noises after 5pm. Fourth, was the TV and the lack of care from the Maintenance person who continuously knocked on the door, ignoring the fact that I stated I fixed and am good. It was because he didn't speak English. Thankfully I speak a little spanish and told him I was fine. Lastly, the hotel management has been very poor with their lack of response and or follow up to make up or rectify the situation. They method of resolution was not satisfactory and was contradicting to what they stated upon check out. I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE STAY HERE UNLESS YOU LIKE ANTS, LOUD NOISES AND POORLY RUNNED STAYS FROM THE ENTIRE MANAGEMENT STAFF!
