I stayed at this property a few years ago. But since then, it seems to have fallen into a bit of disrepair. I like the location because it's close to the freeway but without a lot of traffic noise. It's also close to grocery stores and gas stations. At this visit, the swimming pool was unreasonably cool, the treadmill in the exercise room was broken, and I saw scraps of carpet just randomly placed on a window sill. On the upside, they serve a nice warm breakfast. And the staff were friendly.

Amazing staff. Clean, quiet rooms. Convenient location when traveling N/S on 5 fwy. EXECELLENT VALUE FOR THE PRICE. I chose Sure Stay in Redding on my way North for a long road trip from SoCal to Central Washington. I arrived after 12a on the way up, and Tre was very professional, kind & helpful when I checked in, very important to me as a solo female traveler. I had such a lovely experience on the way up that I booked it again on my way back, and Amber was equally helpful & professional. I was pleasantly surprised about the soundproof rooms...I was expecting to have a bad night's sleep because it's close to the fwy and budget-friendly. I WAS WRONG! Slept like a log and had very pleasant interactions with all the staff I encountered. Thank you Tre & Amber!

Carpet in hallways filthy and bunched up so it was difficult to roll a suitcase over it. Picked this hotel because online stated coin laundry and that was confirmed by front desk at arrival. Upon. y arrival at laundry area, found dryer to have "out of orde" sign. Now i don't blame her for break down, I do feel there was poor communication that she didn't know about it.
