  I did stay due to recent positive reviews. Would not stay again. Front desk staff was nice and I would say had little control over the circumstances. The elevator was broken so the options were stay on the 1st floor in a pet friendly room or 3rd. Usually 3rd would be no issue but I’m 6.5 months pregnant and it was almost 11pm. I tried the pet room which stank of urine and attempts to clean the urine. I then opted for the 3rd floor. It was HOT in the hotel, the stairwells, hallways and the A/C in the room didn’t work so it was sweaty and muggy. The tap pay didn’t work at the front desk, the snacks and drinks cash only, the pool was closed. All around this hotel needs attention. The breakfast was all gone in the morning and took about 20-30 minutes to restock as it was one woman doing all the working and running around alone. There were people lined up and no seating available, again it was HOT in there. There was even locals saying “we don’t stay here, we live in the area and we just come for the breakfast” while crowding into the already packed room. When leaving I asked the front desk if I could have about 5-10 extra mins after checkout just because I’m again very pregnant and trying to repack my car going up and down 3 flights of stairs. They said of course! No big deal, housekeeping thought otherwise and was very rude about it, even though I saw they were still cleaning the other rooms, they wanted to enter mine with things still inside. Overall a weird, not easy, pleasant or comfortable experience.

  Really enjoyed my recent stay at Surestay Plus by Best Western in Redding , Ca 👌 The location was centrally placed to the places where I needed to go , several food places , shops like Walgreens at walkable distance made my stay stress free and comfortable ! I also wish to highly comment on Ms Lisa .C at the reception who helped me soo much for the days I stayed and rooms she made available at my earliest convenience !👏👏👏👏 She is a v pleasant , polite , well mannered person with exemplary Customer Care ! Thanks Lisa for the wonderful stay I had with my son and our dog on Memorial Day weekend at Redding ! Will be back the next time I am in Redding 😁
