  I booked a room there for a friend of mine who was visiting from out of state. I proceeded to pay him a visit after dinner hours. Waited in the lobby until his arrival and was told by the staff to sit in another area.. until the reception guy noticed that my dog was accompanying me. He proceeded into a line of questioning about my service dog that was utterly disrespectful and ADA non-compliant. He then asked me to leave the premises. I will never book again at Holiday Inn Rancho Mirage. Staff is in need of serious ADA and basic rules of hospitality.training.

  We had a wonderful stay here! The rooms were well-organized, with a separate work area and TV. There is also an additional TV in the bedroom. The rooms are equipped with both a microwave and a refrigerator, which was very convenient. The hotel staff were extremely friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The breakfast was also very good. The options were comparable to other hotels, and the taste and quality were excellent. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely recommend this hotel!

  Muy bonito hotel, la persona que me atendio no sabia Ingles pero todo lo tradujo vom sú Cel, exelente atención y servicio y el desayuno tambien muy rico.

  Letto molto comodo e colazione buona. La piscina è un plus che si apprezza quando si viaggia al caldo. La zona è residenziale ed elegante quindi ci si sente molto al sicuro.

  This hotel is very nice, and we initially had a great experience. My sister is a Gold Elite member, and we booked through a Friends & Family rate, which was an excellent deal. During check-in, we were greeted by two very friendly gentlemen, although I unfortunately did not get their names. We decided to extend our stay, and that is when things started to go wrong. We went down for the complimentary breakfast, which looked very appetizing. After eating, we grabbed a few yogurts to take back to the room as snacks for our grandkids. When they became hungry later, we gave them the yogurts. About an hour afterward, both children began vomiting. To our surprise, we discovered that the yogurt had expired. The next morning, we brought the issue to the attention of the staff. Instead of showing concern, the staff was very rude. My daughter was informed that our card would be charged $300 for damage to the sheets. When she asked for a refund so that we could check out, Raquel at the front desk told her that we would not be refunded for something our children had caused. When I returned from work, I asked to see the sheets that supposedly had human feces on them. A houseman named Johnny was standing behind the desk and threw his hands up, asking, “Do you really want the sheets?” I replied, “Yes.” He then sarcastically stated that he would have to “go dumpster diving in 179-degree weather” to retrieve them. Throughout this interaction, the General Manager, Joaquin, stood by and allowed this behavior. Joaquin then stated that we would not receive a refund because the sheets had human feces on them. Since that was a serious allegation, I asked for proof. I also informed the staff that we were checking out because the smell in the room was horrific. Raquel agreed, stating that it was so bad that housekeeping had been gagging. I pointed out that if the condition of the room was truly that severe, no one had offered to move us to another room despite knowing that we had babies staying with us. What is most disappointing is that this entire situation began because the hotel was providing expired food to guests. Instead of addressing that concern with professionalism and empathy, we were met with hostility, accusations, and poor customer service. The hotel itself is nice, but the way this situation was handled completely overshadowed our stay.
